They originally called from James collins legal services and asked me to call the 1 - 866 981-6464 about a check fraud case. it directed me to a mr davies in sterling and seymour that i am going to be served a sumonns today  and if i wasnt here they will go where i work . good luck i work nights .. so if i don't answer the door what then go to the hospital where i work and search for me good luck. so  they are going to put a lean on my Nursing License.so ill pay  umm no job means no money for you ..  threatening me if i don't pay a loan under my maiden name from 2008.  So THey have given me an hour to talk all this over with my husband to pay them the 770 that the settlement was 60 days ago which i havent seen in writting, hmmm  i think they are out of luck ..  .

I got phone call on my cell phone about a week ago stating that I could possibly have a security and fraud with my social secuirty number. The guy sounded serious but I've checked all my info and nothing is out of place, I keep getting random numbers calling my phone now but no message so I finally called back and it said it was sterling and seymour office. I personally feel it is a scam.

Sounds like BS to me, get anything in writing first. And I agree take away a  job... how does that help? It's like taking someone's license away when they have to travel for work and bring their tools with them everywhere.

I just received several calls from this number as well. And unfortunately I fell for the tactic and if I hadn't found any of these postings, these guys may have gotten away with my every hard-earned dollars. Please do not give these guys any bank or credit information. I got very lucky in catching on to this a few minutes after all of this happened. I hope these guys get caught. It finally made sense to me once I went over the way they handled the whole matter and it was very questionable. So PLEASE DO NOT give these guys any information!!! They are NOT debt collectors!!!

I been recieving these calls as well and they had my old car's license plate number and everything!! I was a little scared but im glad I found these posts. They are very threatening over the phone and also threatened to take my taxes!!!!!

I don't even know who they are but I guess the cell phone number to the person that they want to reah is not the person so I don't answer and they are saying me and a accompilist stole some good now  my thing is (If i stole some good then I'm already in JAIL you think. DAMN

Got a message from these same people changing their names to State Law Group of PA, Legal Services, Sterling and Seymour. Have filed a police report and reported to FTC/Attorney General in PA/NY. Called my court house they stated they have received similar calls of people upset about this. Called Allentown police department they stated the same thing.  It appears they are a fraud.

And to those people passing judgement on people....You will never know what people are going through until you go through it! There are many its not me people out there but I only hope that when something unfortunate happens to you someone is there for you without judgement. God is the only one to judge and knows peoples heart!

I got a call saying I would receive a summons Dec 30th for court. I called back and David said I would receive the summons and be in court next week. I asked what attorney was handling this summons since it has to be an attorney in your State to file and have you served and you also so have 7 to 30 days to answer the complaint. He said he didn't have that information but that my checking account would be frozen and my wages garnished. I am totally disabled and receive SS Disability, so this is also illegal. This may be a legal collection agency - I don't know. But I do know they are doing things illegal. I made sure I listened for the door bell to ring yesterday but it never did.

Do not give this company any info they are also linked with anorher "law firm" rossi and lombardithe number are 716-332-1658 and 888-695-4698 I got a story anout a payday loan from 2007 that was not mine. And they threatened to arrest me if I did not pay. The guy on the phone told me his name was bennie davis and he was retired navy and that I better do what they say because they don't mess arroumd and that I will have a warrent. DO not listen to them I called the FTC and opened a case with them about it .
