I answered a phone call and received the same phone message:
"Hello, this is Amy calling with the order confirmation department to validate a purchase you recently made on the internet.  It is important you call me back right away 18669944911 to validate your order.  Again, the number is 18669944911.  Thank you."

The call came from Pheonix, AZ  on June 8 at 1:45 pm.   I did not call back.  Is it possible that anyone that calls this number will be charged by the phone company.

I just received the same call from an automated Amy.  The only thing I made a purchase for online was shipping charges for gov. grant info.  Has anyone else purchased anything like that online?

    hello Melissa,

I also got the call after I purchased the gov. grant info. I used a prepaid visa card (with a very small balance on it), so I am not worried about it.

I purchased a 'free Ebay training kit' similar to the video professor, and then got the Amy message. My sister called them back and they said they were 'confirming an Ebay purchase'. Call your credit card company and get fraud protection if you get a call from this number.

    tired of all the fraud!!
I haven't purchased anything and I've seen this number come up several times on my cellphone but since I didn't recognize it I didn't answer (623-238-6401).  This time it caught me off guard and when I answered the phone I got a recording from "Amy" about an order I placed.  I haven't placed any orders so I'm sure not calling the 866-994-4911 but I will check my credit cards.  Thanks for all the postings.

Received a call from an Amy to confirm an order I placed.  The recording didn't say what order was being confirmed.  I called them back and it was for an order of Bromalite.  Very strange.  They had all the correct information (my address and the last four of my credit card), and didn't ask me for any additional information.  It was to confirm the order, tell me I was getting a 30 day supply of something I didn't order as a trial and a different customer service number to call with questions.

    Fraudulent purchase
Well, here's the scoop that I got.  I called and the number goes to the Order Confirmation department for an SMW Labs in Clearwater, FL.  Evidently someone had purchased the Acai Berry detox product yesterday at 6:19 a.m.(PST) while I was in the shower getting ready for work.  I called their customer service number - 866-994-4911, and got the details.  They cancelled the order.  I then called my credit card company and cancelled the card and had them re-issue a new one.  Someone made this purchase fraudulently.  Where they got my info I have no idea.  Be careful guys.  It sounds like we are all linked by some similar purchase that we made on line.

Got the call on my answering machine today and after reading the above reports I won't call it back. I did order a trial supply of a product which was part of the publisher's clearing house sweepsstakes, you know once you enter they put you through to the sponsors for magazines and stuff. I'll check with my bank in the morning. Thanks to everyone for passing along your comments.

I received a call this morning from Amy wanting to verify a purchase I recently made on the internet.  I did not make any purchases and I will not call them back..  They are looking to verify information to steal from people.  The person( Carolyn) that verified all their information with them had better call their bank and cancel their card.

I already have fraud protection on my cards and my bank calls for any purchases made outside of my local living area.

The call came in with phone number: 623-238-6401 but was told to call 866-994-4911.

I received the same call today.  I had recently made an online order.  When I called it was a order confirmation department and gave me a customer service number to call but could not give any other information.  I called the customer service number and didn't get a person.  I did notice that I had a conversion fee and another charge on my card.  I will be calling my credit card and rebutting the charge.  Make sure you guys check your cards for any fraudulent charges.

I just checked my credit card statement and there are TWO charges on my
credit card for something I DID NOT ORDER.  One date 8/1/09, which is when I got my call from Amy and one dated today, which is when I get a call from this number 305-800-1000 FLORIDA.
I believe these companies are one in the same.
I NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING FROM EITHER COMPANY OR EITHER PHONE NUMBER.
Somehow they get your credit card info and all of your personal inf.

I receive this voice mail almost 10 times a day for the past two weeks, I blocked the number but the voice mails keep coming through...it's getting to be a real pain to have to keep going through and delete them all, how do I get this to stop!?

you have to check the terms and conditions.  they scam you with the trial offer and then continue to charge you monthly for the program.  you need to return the trial product shipped, and call the number on your order form to cancel.  you have to call to cancel your order (800-659-3588), it doesn't make a difference if you cancel your credit card because it's a contractual agreement via the internet and you will still have to pay. send back the trial you've ordered when you receive it(you need to write your order ID # on the box/get this when you call if you don't have it).  you should get a confirmation number when you cancel.  i don't know if the calls will stop, but this is the process my mom just went through.  i wanted to share to help all of you.

My call came from 1 231 732 2737, but it was from the Confirmation Department. The first three calls came from a male, and the fourth was from Amy. Not only did they have my phone number, but had the last four digits of my credit card.
