Got missed call. Left no message. On a Saturday.

Called cell, no mssg, 'unknown' ID

Woman left voicemail stating she was from Allstate and there was a problem with my account. Instructed me to call back within 3 business days with my account information. I called my local office who verified that my account was fine and this number is not associated with Allstate.

Female indicated she was from Allstate Underwriters following up on a letter sent out regarding my auto insurance, address, vehicles, etc.  I told her that in the 40+ years I've been driving, this was a first; and since you sent me a letter, you have my address, you can contact my local office and hung up.

Got a call from the number and a man named “Jordan” stated that he was calling from Allstate to follow up on a letter that was sent out for my auto policy. He asked for the policy number. Questioned him as I have Allstate insurance but don’t have a Allstate agent and that Allstate isn’t supposed to contact me at all. He back tracked and stated that they work on behalf of Allstate and needed to ensure that all the information is correct. I told him I would contact my third party agent as I don’t want any contact with Allstate.

Got a call - message said from Allstate to call back within 3 days to update account. Allstate doesn’t do that. Ignored, deleted and blocked.

3 calls from this number I’ve a couple days . Answered the last one, no one there. Blocked it.

THIS IS A SCAM. Got a call from this number, and although no message left, based on experience  of other posters here, I had received a letter with Allstate logo from a company called Verisk stating that it was verifying info on my Allstate policy in advance of renewal. I contacted local office because too much of info in letter was incorrect and I felt Allstate would have correct info. Local office advised to ignore letter but if possible to scan letter and email to them. I did.

Some nutjob keeps calling our work line on this number and keeps hanging up when we answer.  Don't care if it is a legitimate Allstate or not, I wouldn't have insurance with a company that keeps hanging up on its customers.

The timing of this call, and the comments on here, concern me as I am an Allstate customer. If this is a spam call I hope the spammer didn’t somehow get the info from payments I just made successfully. I don’t answer calls I don’t know. No message.

No way am I giving out info to some random stranger over the phone!I never answer calls if I don’t know the number.

I’m an Allstate customer too and the thought that Allstate is possibly giving my information out to some random company ( when I never authorized my private information being given out!) really upsets me. I don’t care if it’s for so-called verification or some other BS purpose. I’m mad. This should not be happening.

I received a call from a man with a foreign accent saying he was with All state making a follow up call regarding a letter about my auto policy renewal. I told him I had never had a call like this before. I regret to say I answered more questions than I wanted to. Although I didn't give any personal information and eventually told him the phone call was over.

And if the number and name are being spoofed?  Claiming "Legit" is premature and may mislead people. Being skeptical is a good way to stay safe.

Has called my phone three times, including while I was at the doctor's. I don't even have allstate, so I just want them to stop calling

Women called said she was from Allstate Insurance. She said there is a problem with my account. I hung up. Theee isn’t a problem with the account.
