The number called and I missed it. Only reason I called back was due to the caller ID on my cellphone reading it as Allstate. When I called back it gave a message stating how Allstate is trying to keep customers safe (this is actually part of the call when you call the legit Allstate 1800 number) so I believed it was legit. When I got someone the agent said they were having issues with their system. The call was also choppy and cutting off. When I asked why I was getting this call when my policy doesn't end for 2 more months and because I am paid up until the 15th, she stated that it was because she had to verify information (like I stated before it was choppy so I could not understand). Once she asked for my number and address and I could barely make out the words I hung up because I was confused how their phone system could be so terrible. So I called the Allstate Customer Service number. When I got with an agent she said there was no need for them to verify anything and that this number who called was not a Allstate number.

A women call me from 866-997-2398 stating that is from Allstate and that is about my car insurance policy, I told her I will call back, instead I call my insurance agent and said that is not a legit call. So is maybe SCAM.

Got 3 calls around 10-11am, 3 days in a row. No voicemail so most likely scam

My agent told me the same. In fact, she checked their own database and confirmed that the number is a robocall disguising as Allstate and attempting to scam Allstate customers. She shared with me that one customer’s premium had fallen overdue, so the agency called to remind her, and the customer replied that she had already been contacted by phone and had paid her premium - but in fact, had paid the scammer!

Received a call.  Did not answer.  Did not leave a voice mail.

Received 3 miss calls from this number.. left 1 message asking me to call them back to confirm the information on my policy. Called them back and she sounded sketchy as foo.. claiming my insurance would go up if I didn’t give them personal info. Called my local office and they said nothing was wrong on my policy at all and to ignore that number. So where are the people we put in office to protect us against all these scammers? Its getting ridiculous with these constant scam calls! Do something about it!

this is a 3rd party calling to gather information...I questioned what they were calling about because they initially claimed to be Allstate...but didn't have any information regarding my policy...they were phishing for information and I hung up.

Same call about allstate. Did not answer but *67 and called back. I have the allstste app and my agent usually will call directly or email me regarding anything she needs answered. Probably a scam. May mess with them when they call later lol.

That does not work on toll free numbers such as this one and they will have your number in their call logs.

I also confirmed that it is NOT Allstate at all. Fraud.
