Another robo call. No message. I’m so sick of these calls!

Robot calls on 2 consecutive days.  I have blocked this number.

The phone number has called me 20 times since June 2nd.  Never leaves a message.

I thought they were a scam at first but it's a legit company. They want to collect auto insurance info for Allstate. I'm pretty sure it has to do with my car insurance renewal. Very nice and didn't ask for my banking info or social security number or anything like that. Just confirmed the basic info on my auto policy.

You're "pretty sure" it has to do with your insurance renewal? Since you claim "it's a legit company", why aren'y you positive? And why are you even here? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

I got called today and after ended up here because I was suspicious. Not sure if it was legit or not, lady was also nice and confirmed basic information. Although there is one thing... the address they have on me is not the one I have on my auto insurance. I insured my autos in a different city and have my parents address in them. However she gave me my actual address where I reside. That is iffy. Unless it’s because of my drivers license. I dunno.

If they don't have accurate information then clearly it's not legitimate. Of course, you could always contact your insurance company at a known phone number, such as one found on their official website, and ask them about this call.

Nuisance caller. Silent when you pick up, never leaves message. They have called my number twice a day for a week now.

I just received a call from this number. I answered since they’ve been bugging me. Wanted me to verify account info. I said no. Caller was like, “yes you can do it online but you still need to mail it to us.” I said that’s fine I’ll do the mail. Sounded pretty convincing. I chatted with Allstate. They said to ignore the call because everything looks right on my account. This is a scam caller.

According to one of the other posters in this thread they have indicated that the caller is Verisk.  Verisk does do insurance evaluations and they are located in New Jersey. According to the CFPB they are an Insurance Company Analytic firm  https://www.consumerfinance.gov/consumer-tool ... roperty-verisk/   and they must furnish you with a credit report when requested once every year.  I would suggest that you get one from them and also from LexisNexis.

Insurance carriers are using Third parties to update info for Auto renewals, such as annual mileage and drivers in the household, they will also send out renewal questionaires and if you do not reply then these Third party folks will call you.

Im sorry to say that Allstate will never call you to ask for personal information. Sounds like you were scammed to me. For information not money. Good luck…

They call me here and there, left a message for allstate.autopolicyupdate.com i called my insurance and they said i should not be getting these cause im in autopay and current. they said block the number its a scam.

That is the scam Ms. Carter. You’re not supposed to verify that information. I contacted my local allstate office and they specifically told me it was a scam
