This number is calling me several times a week.   The number is linked to MacMaster University from Ontario calling about being a participant in an aging study.

McMaster University is risking its venerable reputation by associating with this invasive type of random "research" which, once long ago, was considered highly unethical.

I've had to pay for a call blocking service to make the calls stop.  Why should anybody have to do this?

Stop CALLING ME you call mutiple time a day not interested. I dont care if your doing a survey your worse than a telemarketer.

STOP CALLING ME.  I have received a few calls but did not receive a message why the call was made.  If it is about doing a survey I AM NOT INTERESTED - PERIOD~!!!!!

They call me frequently and I don't answer. Will they EVER go away???

McMaster University is doing a very relevant study on aging in Canada. I have been part of this study for 2 years and they are nothing but professional, in person and on the phone. They need large numbers of Canadians to participate in order for their research to be relevant (and helpful as we all will face old age at some time!)
I am due for an annual phone interview and will ask them about what some people are experiencing.

The Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) is currently recruiting 50,000 men and women between the ages of 45 and 85 to participate in Canada’s largest study of health and aging. If you receive a call from 1-866-999-8303, you have been selected at random to receive an invitation to participate in the study.  If you do not wish to be contacted, please send an email with your phone number to info@clsa-elcv.ca or call 1-866-999-8303 to reach the CLSA National Coordinating Centre. Your phone number will be kept on file for the duration of recruitment and you will not be contacted again. Once the recruitment period is over, your phone number will be removed from the CLSA’s Do Not Call list.
