This number is now being used by a Vacation Rental scammer who creates profiles at AirBnB and VRBO/Homeaway attempting to do the classic Cashier Check scam where they send you a Cashier Check but it is more than the amount needed so they ask you to wire them the rest through Western Union or something.  Don't even bother with them.

I just received the requeest as well from Andrea Bianco.  Gave me the same phone number as what is listed above:  872 & 256 & 0.2.6.8.

Wanted to send a cashier's check. Same messages as others - word for word. He sent the messages in a HomeAway listing as a booking request.

Now he has changed his name to LUCA.  Same scam request through VRBO/HomeAway:

How are you doing today ? My name is Luca, I'm a Petroleum engineer and I work in the gulf of Mexico, originally from Italy but live in Texas US. I would like to inquire about your property for myself and the 3 members of my team for our annual vacation at your property for the dates reserved on the listing. Just received message from Luca. Exact same phone number and message. First red flag was the company check. Any check for that matter. Here is the name and number 872 & 256 & 0268

Well, first of all, you need to know both who and where they are.

Got the same Luca Belotti request word for word on my VRBO account. based on the earlier comments, looks like an attempt for Money Laundering. if they give you more then want the balance back. thanks to everyone for posting the concern so it was easily found via Google.

Except for a different email address, we rcvd a request that was word-for-word.
