Not the person that is on caller

Sales call - takes him a LONG time to get to what he is actually selling. It's an audio commercial group; they make audio commercials you can play on your company's phone system (instead of a silent hold). His sales tactics seem to sneaky for me to recommend - first he said his company was right down the street, then he admitted they are in another state.

Too busy to deal with this garbage. Asked for someone by first name, so transferred him. He promptly hung up after the extension did not pick up and called us back again. Pushy, attempting to glean information as to "who else might help him" and then threw out the company's FORMER owner name stating he would talk to him. He represented himself as if he were a personal acquaintance of that person (who sold the company in 2008!) and would have known that if he was who he tried to say he was. Just told him not to call us again.

also calls from 872-484-1622, lied about who they were and used a vendors name to get through. If you have to lie  to get through who would use you!

Heather Speilman, PH Goup., 872-484-1616. Heather initially would only give her 1st name. She wasn't sure who she was calling for and tried to influence my decision to forward her to the owner by stating: "We provide services for R&R Glass, your boss knows them". She finally gave her full name and number after I said I would not take a message without at least that info. She would never tell me what services PH Group provides. I told her to take us off her list. She did not get any info from me and I did not pass her info along.

I asked specifically if she was selling something and she said no. She stated she knew "Knox Roofing" and made it appear they spoke before when asking for the owner of our company by name. So annoying. I called her back and told her to be honest when someone outright asks her a question.

He gave his name, makes it sound like he knows my boss and that he has spoken to him before.
He only said he was from PH Group because I asked. I knew it was a scam but offered to take a message just in case. He says oh I will just e-mail him. He never got an e-mail of course.

Tony from PH Group asking for the owner by name. Obviously do research but just lookign to make a sale. Ain't got time for you man!

A woman called and asked for my boss by name. When I asked to take a message, she rambled on about working with a company "down the road". When I asked about her company name she again named the company down the road.  When I asked what city the company was in,  because I have not heard of it, she stumbled on her words and said a city 149 miles away. I asked again what company she works for and she did finally say PH Group. I looked at the "down the road" company she named and couldn't find anything online. I will not be passing her message along to my boss and I blocked her number!

Caller calls in and wants to be placed onto hold.  Definately a little wierd, hung up on them.  We have several like this.
