A man by the name of "Peter Washington" with a very thick accent called to tell me I won $555,000 and a brand new Cadillac.  When I asked how I could win a sweepstakes I had not entered, he said it was because I shop at Wal Mart.  When I told him I didn't believe him he just kept dodging.  He has called me over 30 times just today because I won't answer the phone.  He also tried to disguise his voice and say he was a UPS man driving up my street looking for me.  He calls you "my friend" a lot.  Ironically so did the UPS man. He also calls from another number which I will post separately.

A Jamaican woman called this morning (9:00 AM) and told me I had received a "prize."  I told her she was a scam artist, which she repeatedly denied; I also told her that I had called the FTC about these telephone calls and that I was reporting her, too.  Since, I didn't have the numder, I *69'd it, then I called it and got an British (white?) woman's voice recording telling me that "all lines were busy."  I hung up; the telephone rang back only once from the same 876-259-3665 number, which I DID NOT pick up.  I immediately called the FTC to add this to the numbers that had called me.  Olivia at the FTC wasn't too friendly; she said that since I called the number back that I would be charged for an international telephone call to Jamaica!  She said I should call the telephone company and tell them it was a scam artist, and maybe they'll remove it from my bill.  I'm disgusted!
