876-278-1060

Received a call today from 876-278-1060 asking for my mother.  I asked who was calling and the person on the other end said his name was Howard Foster and had a strange accent.  He said that he was with the Mega Millions lottery and that she has won second place in a special drawing that she supposedly entered.  He said that she had won 2.5 Million dollars and a new 2014 vehicle.  He then proceeded to tell me that someone would be stopping by sometime today to deliver the check and car.  I said "Really? What is our address?"  HE ACTUALLY HAD OUR ADDRESS!!!!! So at this point this person knows my mothers full name, address and telephone number.  I just said ok and didn't give him any other information.  I then tried to call back the number he had called from and he did answer but seemed flustered that I would call him back and then proceeded to give me a number to the Mega Millions Headquarters and told me that I could call them to verify.  I hung up and tried to call the number he gave me and before I could even finish dialing the number the operator cut in and said that it was a invalid number.  I then contacted our local police department and an office came out.  I was disappointed by him because he just kind of didn't seem very interested in the situation and continued to tell me that they could not do anything about it unless someone actually showed up at our house or broke into it.  He didn't even bother to take a report.
