- met(02/04/12) I just rec'd a call from a Jim Kingston, about the 2 1/2 million dollar sweepstakes and he wanted to know what time my bank closed (this is 11:45 SATURDAY morning). I told him I was sure this was not a legit company and/or call. Even though I have caller ID, I asked for his phone number and he gave me the same number as the ID'er showed. He started saying something about IF I were to continue paying my electric bill on time...and this is where I interupted him again and told him I was not interested and would like my name removed from his call list. The phone number he called me from is 876 886-4124, when I researched the number it is from Jamaica.
- Elizabeth Penter replies to none| 1 replyA Mr. Jim Kingston has been calling me for about 3 months from either 1--876--424--7844 or 1--876--405--9075 or 1--876--487--4672. He said today, 2-4-12 that I had won 1.5 million but first I had to wire some money. I think this is the same scam that the post made by none was talking about. This man,Mr Kingston, has been calling me for months. At one time he even told me a Mercedes Car would be delivered by U.P.S. I had to chuckle on that one. I think the man's elevator is stuck on the first floor.
- N/A| 2 repliesJoseph Elbert left a voicemail from this number on my answering machine, very thick accent that took about 5 listens just to understand him. Called ID is Kingston, JM (Jamaica). All he asked was that I call him back but of course this is just a huge scam! He had my first and last name and I do not list that with my phone number in any directory, which suggests to me that they have purchased information that was hacked or obtained fraudulently. Not calling this back!

So how do you know who I was, he said that there was a special camera that scanned me and got all my info...I said well that's scary to know..he says ya!!!! So he said if anyone else calls only talk to him and he gave me a code and will call later about my prize...I also won a Valentine prize..but he didn't call yesterday...but Valentines day was tuesday..that was a red flag.. And I won a trip and room for 2 @ the Hilton in vegas..... So I called back and he answered.....I said I accidently pushed redial......most def a scam....

- powderkeg1I just got a call from Jim Kingston. 876-474-8384 is what is on my caller ID, but the man claimed he was David Sayers from Farmington, NM and was CEO for Publishers Clearing House. He said I had just won over a million dollars. He wanted me to go to Walmart and send him the postage and handling fee. I asked him how I had won, seeing I had not enteredrecently. He said I had three years ago and this was "unclaimed prize money." I had entered three years ago so I asked him what else did I have to do to claim the money. The minute he asked for personaal info., bank routing number etc. I hung up. I called the local police and reported this. Then I googled him and found this message board. He needs to be arrested! He knows stuff about his callers from somewhere and this is scary.

- Rainbow replies to NancyThey are calling us almost every other month usually at the end of the month. He tells us a new name sometimes but today when he called we let the fax machine answer.
- Rainbow replies to Elizabeth PenterToday he has been calling trying to get our last $20. He tried about 3 months ago to get about $100. After he gave me an address in Jamaica we knew that this dream was only a dream.
- Rainbow replies to jimTexasIf they can when they see it is him calling just go outside or let it ring. It does no good to talk or yell at him.
- scooooots| 2 replies876-275-5005, Jim Kingston, call originates from Kingston, Jamaica. He tried the whole UPS delivering $150,000 thing. I called him back all day and messed with him, LOL, he was irate, screaming and cussing. He has to answer because he calls numerous people everyday, and expects calls back to keep the scam going, only 1 or 2 bite on it a day, but its more money than me and you make in a day. My suggestion, call him back and keep him busy answering. He switches numbers often, so each time the number is only good for a few days at most. Report each time to your states attorney generals office, local police have no help for you, its up to each of us to have common sense, and know UPS isn't gonna deliver $1.5 million to our doorstep. The FBI needs to form a task force to combat this, but they want nothing to do with it.

- bevis [***]Today a Benjaman Washington called me to report that I had won 2.5 million dollars through publishers clearinghouse. I knew it was a scam and launched a slew of profanity at him. His number is 876-278-6553. He threatened me with all kinds of nasty stuff. Apparently it works though, the police officer said that these people scammed $8000 out of elderly people here in Albuquerque, NM.

- Pat winkley replies to N/AI got a call from a man saying his name was Dave Sayer. Said he wanted me to call him back at 1-876-329-1164. Had my first & last name. said I had won $ 950,000 & a Mercedes Benz, He had a thick accent & was difficult to understand. I let the answering machine get it. The caller I.D.showed he was calling from 876-334-1964 & the name on the caller I.D.was Jim Kingston I guess no call lists does not apply to scam artists. You can report activity like this to the Fed Trade Comm. I don`t think it did any good, they did not seem very interested, and gave me a case file number. But who knows, at least I feel like I did what I could, but as you can see I`m still getting scam calls. I think I`ll just let them wear the answwereing machine out.
