These people don't quick.  Another number from the Kingston Jamaica scam.  As I sent with another 876 ... number - Same chaps who claim they are from Publishers Clearing House, Reader's Digest and any other lottery.  Claim you won cars and money.  Want you to send them Western Union for $600 to get the prize.  Sounds like a "boiler room" scam down in Kingston.  Told them I was recording and turning everything over to the police.  Stop immediately.

Sure enough! same batch of Scamming [removed:lang] out of Jamaica!
TELL THEM YOU ARE RECORDING THE CALL!!!  they hate that! then turn the recordings over to police or GOV'T.
When you tell them you are recording them, they usually hang up and leave you alone. If they even think they can push you around, you make it onto the "Suckers" list and they will hound you....

If you are truely Jamaican then you KNOW what is going on over there! This runs rampant! It's going on all over Jamaica, gangs fight for lists of names. The local GOV'T there does NOTHING to stop it. The local cellular carrier there KNOWS whats going on! They too choose to do nothing about it.It would be VERY easy for the local government to actually listen in on telephone circuits in Jamaica and STOP this, but they don't.
Aside from the local resorts (which ARE beautiful) the rest of the country is a 3rd world [removed:lang]/cesspool/dump and will remain that way.

I just got the same call from this number claiming that I had won 12.5 million and a car and the names they used were Andrew Vanjofke and David Bank.  When I told them that I would have the chief of Police here to greet them as they delivered the money, Andrew got very upset with me and he stopped calling.  They we're trying to scam $1,200 from me claiming that this would be money to pay for shipping and handling of the winning documents.  Don't know how the car was going to be delivered.

Called to tell me I won 12.5 million. Said it was from a Publisher's Clearing House entry. They did have my email address. I said I must be really lucky because this is the third time in 2 weeks that someone calls to tell me I've won that exact amount. They said I haven't paid the handling and shipping yet, I said there is no handling and shipping if I've won. Click, thay hung up on me. Darn, there goes another 12.5 million.

Some guy in broken English called me at work, said he was with the "Mega Million Dollar Lottery Company" and that I won a 2012 Mercedes and 38 Million to boot! Gave me detailed info on how to send a $1350 Western Union to some PO Box in Bushnell FLA. Said a receipt was a requirement for delivery to my home. When I asked if he could tell me my address or just my zipcode.. He said he needed the info to validate..

I really wonder how many fools go for this scam..

You almost feel for this low life criminal scammer?  WHAT????  Also, your post is almost impossible to read due to the complete absence of any punctuation.  Further, this is not a "new TRY" - this scam is old and well documented.  The number is a Jamaican one, and the Jamaican fraudsters are legion.
