Jamaican Lottery scam!! Caller uses various aliases and phone numbers. Do not call them back...you will be charged very hefty per minute fees to any number with the 876 area code. Refer to the latest articles from this site...16 ways you can be phone scammed...this is a perfect example of this type of crime. Be aware and be careful!!

Called again at 8:20pm PST.. This time the caller, John Washington provided me with a number of a local winner to confirm they are a legit entity. I called the number, and the lady who answered the call started to berate me when I inquired about the Jamaican Lottery. She accused me of trying to deceive her and scam her and her elderly aunt. Once she understood that I was given her number from a representative from the Jamaican Lottery, she was shocked at the fact they would disclose her number as an actual winner. At this point, it is obvious that even if you make it plain and clear that you are not interested in their b.s., they will continue to call to annoy and harass you. Remember, if they threaten you in any way, call your local police department, your local FBI field office, and your phone company. They have your address, and they have committed a criminal act by threatening you.
