He said his name was Michael Anderson but his accent wasn't anything like any Anderson I've ever heard. I told him he sounded like a scammer and hung up.

- TheToxicAvenger replies to CusTomer| 2 repliesSadly, you will discover that the authorities can not/ will not do anything to solve this problem and that the "Do Not Call List" is useless in trying to combat these black stained rodents from Jamaica. It is up to us to exterminate this vermin.
I was first contacted by these filthy, little animals, when I received a call from a "John Baker" (your post is the first that mentions the use of the alias "Michael Anderson.") In any event, this "John" was calling to tell me I had won 2.5 million dollars from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. It instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS, load it with $499.25 to pay for my "registration fees." A few days after this call, I was shocked to see this particular scam featured on ABC World News. During that segment, they played the audio of a conversation between an elderly woman - who had already sent them $85,000 - and one of these vile creatures.
When these snakes call again - which they will - please record the call. Every little bit of information we can gain and share in this forum will help our investigation. Thanks. - DeletedMedia replies to TheToxicAvengerThanks, and really enjoy reading your descriptions of these filthy scamming animals!
Especially like the idea of extermination! They are yellow-belly cowards in person, and only talk gangster thug over the phone. We pissed off several of the Nigerian fake Publishers Clearing House cockroaches. Got one to go ballistic- the garbage sucking swine couldn’t decide whether to describe why Americans deserve to be swindled, or play the race card! He ended up making terrorist threats on tape provided to the FBI. BTW, aka “Mike Anderson” is/was commonly used by the “cardholder service” jerk-**fs. Might have a recording of “him” out of the hundreds collected so far. If you have the time and resources, post recordings on you tube.
Realm of Darkness. com has tons of funny soundboards to use in exposing and humiliating them-

- scam| 2 repliesJONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A suspected scam artist picked the wrong number to dial.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday, Dustin Norwood of Jonesboro received a phone call from 876-350-1803.
The man on the other end of the line claimed he was a Publishers Clearing House representative and that Norwood had won $2.5 million dollars and a 2015 Mercedes Benz C Class automobile.
What the caller did not know is Norwood is a deputy with the Craighead County Sheriff's Office.
The man then told Norwood to get a pen and paper and “write some things down,” including Norwood's name, the caller's name, the company he represents, and the prizes Norwood had won.
The caller then asked Norwood to read everything back to him.
Believing the caller was fishing for information, Norwood asked the man, “What's my name?”
The caller, according to Norwood's incident report, replied, “Huh?”
The deputy then told the caller that if he truly was a PCH representative then surely he would at least know Norwood's name.
The caller hung up the phone.
Deputy Norwood said in his report he believes the caller would have continued asking him to write down personal information “little by little” until he had all of Norwood's personal information.
“I believe this is one of the tactics people are using to scam people out of their personal information and/or money,” Norwood stated.- Caller: scam

- Badge714 replies to scam| 1 replyDeath by a thousand cuts. That's how scam artists work. You are called & yes, little by little they get you to give up personal information. The 'survey' call, the 'free prize' call, the 'I'm looking for' call. A woman who had be scammed was interviewed by ABC News & they asked her 'What would you do different next time?' Her answer? 'I'd hang up the phone'. Simple as that. Do not argue with them. Do not ask to be put on a DNC list. Do not talk to them. You cannot win a contest you never entered. You cannot win a lottery you never bought a ticket on. Any request for money in advance of a prize, gift, loan, etc. is a scam. Any request to use Western Union, Money Pak, Green Dot, etc. (Cash wire transfer services), where you do not personally know the person, is a scam. Do not call back a number you do not know until you check it out on line first.
- BattymcbatGot a call from this number today, person with a thick accent said something about "3 million dollars". I couldn't understand most of what he said. I think he also said something about "readers digest" and asked if I was interested.
I told him I'd probably end up spending the money on hookers and blow and hung up.
*****Definitely a scam, do not give him any info!******- Caller: Unsure
