I got a missed call from Jamaica I have a friend out there so I return the call.this guy says he's with the ups and CALLING FROM JAMAICA BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO USE ROUTER PHONES..THAT'S WHAT HE SAID I ASKED HIM WHY FROM JAMAICA.he asked for my address and I didn't give all.he said his name is Michael Anderson hes been working for 40 years with the company.and it's not a fraud..he then told me it's 300$to receive my 3million...right? He asked for my religion...this is annoying andbi hope he gets caught seriously...

Now, you can expect a large charge in your next phone bill.

1) The call was from a scammer, trying to entice you to send money
2) If you return the call, it will cost you money!  (Keep reading)
3) The 876 (Jamaica) prefix is VERY frequently used, and WILL cost you money when you call it back.

Some area codes are not toll-free numbers and calls from any other area code are billed at international long distance rates.

Some curious people return the call and will immediately be charged $19.95 for an international call fee and an additional $9-per-minute charge, according to a news release from the BBB.

Here is a list of some area codes that will be billed as international calls:

I got a call from private number saying he was john baxter and I had won the mega million prize...called back 3x and kept calling me sweetie.... weird guy but have a feeling it came from this number

Same story, different day.  Just got a call from Michael Handerson (876-837-3466) saying I was blessed by God because I had just won $55K from American Lottery Sweepstakes.  And I also won a bonus amount of $15K.  In order to get all this "blessed" money, I would need $100 cash to hand over to the banker (Cynthia Duzman) who would show up at my door in 45 minutes.  When I asked for the UPS tracking number, Michael said I'd get all that information, along with a receipt, once the $100 was handed over.  Michael claimed he was calling from Jamaica NY.  I tried calling the number back and was informed by my carrier that it was an international number so I hung up.  The number he called from is a landline in Carlton Jamaica, NOT Jamaica NY.  He called me back and I questioned him about his location and he was all offended and accused me of insulting him.  Let the fun begin!  All this just happened within the last 15 minutes and I'm supposed to get a call back from Michael in an hour looking for his $100 . . . NOT!!!

Just got a call from this clown... Have a phone with free international minutes so I decided to have fun. After several hours of going back and forth we were both heated. He threatened to have my door kicked in and stated he was going to have my head cut off. I of course entertained the comment and contacted him from another number in a strong Irish accent and told him a member of the IRA was coming for him and his family after he proceeded to threaten my pregnant fiancé. I took it upon myself to pester and and continuously call this [***] back and have very heated threatening arguments with him. After taunting him for several hrs I think he firmly believed The IRA was coming for him and his family. He turned off his phone and I can not get in touch with him. Will try again in the morning. I refuse to leave this [***] clown alone.

got a call this morning from a guy who was very hard to understand, and trying to use what I assume was a fake accent.
he stated what I assume was his name and business than asked "you understand?"
I assumed it was a telemarketer or what ever so decided to play with them a bit and see where it goes so I replied with "what do you want"
he apparently couldn't hear me or didn't know what to say so he kept asking me what I had said. I asked again (this went on for maybe 5 seconds) than he snapped back with a string of F*** yous and ended with saying he was going to kill me, than he hung up.

My cousin who lives in Window Rock, AZ received a scam saying she won $2,000 and she just needed to send $50 money order from LOWES via Wells Fargo to a Michelle Rose? The guys name was named James Harvey and he "worked for Mega Million Lottery". Sketchy and I looked up this and seen the report.

A James Harvey called my dad on his cell phone this morning telling him that he won on a Mega Millions lottery... $187,000 dollars in cash plus 1,500 Walmart gift card. He said he was calling from Albuquerque NM and the Mega Millions building is located on 27 Main Street. Albs Main Street is called Central. Hellooo?!?!?! Pffft... my dad told him he didn't take him seriously and after telling him he had no money in his account, this James Harvey hung up. Ha!

Now how would Mega Millions know that you won? You don't give them your name when you buy a ticket, only when you redeem it. Ever notice that when winning tickets are sold for any lottery, they never know who won until the ticket is turned in?
