I received a phone call on 10/11/13 from 876-529-3346 from winners international - Benny Baker, who informed me that I had won a new Chevy car color of my choice. He said his badge number was NJ0061 which was certified by Donald Trump and my winning confirmation was 8080UPS and prize claim number was 232376.  All that I needed to do was call another number that he provided 866-996-5997 and provide them the numbers that he gave me.  I live in Grants Pass, Oregon and he told we that they were waiting in Selma, Oregon with my prize and even CASH money.
Another call back number if I couldn't reach him was 702-421-3791.  When I asked who he worked for he said John Norr of Winners International which was part of Publishers Clearinghouse.
When I did a reverse phone call search the number 876-529-3346 came up located Kingston, Jamaica.
I did not make any return phone calls. I did receive two return phone calls from 876-529-3346 which I didn't answer and they left no voice mail - what a surprise.  No new car for me.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

Do report the calls, Jamaican and US officials are still actively tracking down and arresting the offenders:

    Also:
    It is a scam:
    http://info.pch.com/consumer-information/fraud-protection

They never require any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.

"If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees,  and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize – DON’T!  It’s a SCAM. If you are sent a check, told it’s a partial prize award, and asked to cash it and send a portion back to claim the full prize award, DON’T.  The check is fake, but the SCAM is real!

Publishers Clearing House does not operate this way and would NEVER ask for money to claim a prize award.  PCH employees would never contact you personally or in advance to notify you of a prize award.  Our prize awards are presented just the way you see in our popular TV commercials, ‘live and in person’ by our Prize Patrol, with balloons, champagne and check in hand - - and with no advance notification!"

Cindy Starzyk replies to new car winner
I received a call saying I won a car and some cash also. 80,000 to be exact. But they required a green.dot money pack reloaded scratch card. He wanted me to give 299.00  I told him I have no money and I don't give it to strangers. He even asked if I could get money from my neighbor or any family member. He said he'll be calling tomorrow to see if I have the money they want in order for me to win the cash. He even went on to say this has to be private as others will try to take my money. Why do people do this, it's sickening. Please stop this person from taking advantaged of others.
