Someone called me from this number saying I won 3rd place in a contest from MGM Grand Mega Million saying I won 2.5 million and a 2014 mercedes benz.

Yeah we won 3.5 million and 2014 Mercedes . My husband and James Anderson had words after being told we were so blessed . . We hung up and . Anderson repeatedly called us back . We gave no money .

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

This man named David King said he is with MGM GRAND PRIZE PATROL.  He needs 300 for the car to enter the USA.  I won 6 million dollars.  SCAM. He wants the money.  Said he was calling from Nevada not it is in Jamaica. I did do 50 dollars on a green card just to see.  Money gone said applied to taxes.  His boss was busy with paperwork.  Gives MGM address but he's not there.  So he got 50.  He called daily during Thanksgiving pushing for me to gave the money so I can my prize that will change my life.  I asked many questions.  Said he had a roaming phone out of Jamaica but was in Nevada.  I did a reverse look up and the name to the phone is not David King but Jim.

Yep, it is a well-known scam.
Next time you want to give away $50, give it to a worthy cause rather than to a scammer "just to see".

I just got this call.  It sounded like a long distant robo call but I was sure it was meant to sound like that.  I let the fool talk for half an hour.  I knew where this was going.  After winning my 6.5 million PCH prize and a new car, all I had to do was give them a CC# or bank account to pay for the licensing fee's.  Uh Huh.  Sadly, it interrupted my garden work.

This guy must be at work again. Didnt answer the phone as the call came in at 7AM and I like to be fully awake befor  talking with anyone. They called 3 times.

I was suspicious the minute I saw a call coming in from Jamaica and did not answer.
