- Midwesterner| 2 repliesCaller ID said "Private Caller" so I let it go to voicemail. Caller identified himself as Fred Meyer, calling to say I won $850,000 and a new car from Publishers Clearing House and to please call this number.
Number is from Jamaica. - Midwesterner2 replies to MidwesternerDitto. Same number, same spiel. I won also! (Not really, I also let it go to voicemail). Only my caller said his name was John Penney. I wonder if his middle initial is C. (JCPenney-get it)? Fred Meyer is the name of a supermarket chain. The voice might have been text to voice.
