Got a call saying that I won $550,000 from MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  Wanted me to go to Wal-Mart and get a money back scratch card so that a delivery team can meet me.  Person identified themself as David Johnson from MGM Grand.  He had a deep, accented voice that was very difficult to understand.  Found several SCAM notices with similiar descriptions from other 876 numbers.

I got a call from 876-854-0266.  I hung up on the caller.  He called back, giving his name as Peter Scuccess from Publisher's Clearing House in Port Washington, NY.  He told me I won a new car and $16.8M.  He told me I must call him from home, and not to tell anyone the details of what they tell me when I call from my house.  There is no way I'm going to return his call.  These scammers are slick, but not slick enough to get through my [***] detector.  If you get a call like this, do not be swayed by their persistence.  In fact, just hang up on them.

This number called twice in a row (phone rang, I didn't answer, the phone rang again right after from the same number) but didn't leave a message. The caller i.d. said Cell Phone Jm.

This number has since called back two more times, still no message. I'm just going to block them.

I received 3 calls from this number. The first one said unknown and I didn’t answer. I suspect it was from the same number though. Immediately following the first call, I got the second one. He said he was from PCH. I hung up. He called right back. I said what is this about. He said he was from the PCH. I said no thank you and take me off your calling list. He got angry and told me F you, F you mother f’er. I hung up. These people are aggressive. All 3 calls happened over the course of about 2 minutes. I haven’t been contacted since. But we shall see.

Phone call from 876-854-0266; caller ID reads "Cell Phone JM" - call went to answering machine. Male said something along the lines of: "Hello. David Myers from Publisher's Clearing House. Anybody home? Hello? Hello? David Myers from Publisher's Clearing House. Hello.  Appreciate a return phone call as soon as possible. Needless to say, I did NOT call this fool back.

Scam! Publisher's Clearinghouse doesn't call, they show up at your door. And even if they did call, they wouldn't do so from Jamaica. Block and ignore such calls if you can and definitely don't call them back!

Called 2 times in a row then called my husband's phone. Supposedly from Publishers Clearing House. Aggressive.
