This is fraudulant!!! Claim to be publishers clearing house

Scam.

Called the number back after their 'award' of 2.6 million $US. After some fun stuff, i.e. messing with them they said they will continue to call these numbers because that is where the money is at.  So, don't believe them.

I just got a call from this # just now and when the rep stated my cell phone company put in my number through a random give away for Publishers Clearing house,I called him out on it. He then became very irate cursing me out. I will be filing charges with my cell phone company.

Why?
Your cell phone company had nothing to do with the scam, and the scammer is probably overseas, using a VOIP link.

Things to believe:

• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it sounds (or looks) too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government    <<<<<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot", MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites.
• The 876 area code is NOT your lucky number, and does cost money to call it!

Got a call from this number today. I knew it was most likely BS when the call came in, because the number is from Jamaica, so I didn't answer it. I called it back out of curiosity, and got what seemed to be a cell phone voicemail. I called it again later, and a foreign fellow answered. When I asked what the previous call was about, he informed me that I had won $5.5 million and a Mercedes through Publisher's clearing house, but quickly hung up when I called him out on it. :)

Got a call from this number at exactly 11am this morning. He said his name was David from publisher's clearing house and I'd won $1.5m. I said, "I seriously doubt that" and he immediately hung up.

Got a call from this # today and they told me I won publisher's clearing house then called him out on it and told him he was calling from Jamaica  and then he told me to f(&@ off and Hung up.

call came via cell, person turned very rude when i asked for the exact purpose of the call.  also received this trash on the house phone

He called my cell at 9:49am today. Luckily I did not answer. From reading all of the posts looks like this person is trouble. Scary - I have to wonder how he got my number.

I received the same call today.  I felt as though it was a scam and when he asked me if I wanted to receive a check or donate it to the US Army, I said neither.  He then told me to get the F#@$ off the phone and go suck my husband's D@#k.

Told me I won 15000.00 and mercedes. Ask if there any strings attached, he said no and out of curiosity alright,  then he said ok and hunge. I knew from the start, but I live messing with there head,  and I wasn't even the man of the house,lol
