Received a call on my cell phone from someone with a heavy accent (though he didn't sound Jamaican) who identified himself as a driver from Publisher's Clearing House telling me I was had won one of three prizes,  $300,000, or a car, or some other expensive gift I couldn't understand.  He then asked if I remembered entering the contest.  I responded I remembered something about Publisher's Clearing House but did not agree to entering a contest as I knew I had not.  The gentleman went on to tell me I needed to call his Manager "Agent" Malone to confirm my identity and collect my prize.  The caller gave me the following 876 number (876-892-8914) which does not appear on the listings shown here, asked me to repeat it back to him "to be sure I had it right" and asked me to call right away as the Manager "Agent" Malone was in his office right then.    

I am aware area code 876 is often used in phone scams so did not call the number he gave.

When I call that number back a woman called Ducky answered.

wow, that must be scripted! i received the exact same call today.......blahhhh, hah, hah, the idiots are even scripting!

I got the same call with a heavy accent.  I asked where he was calling from and he wouldn't tell me.  There was a lot of yelling in the back ground and the connection was bad.  The number said Restricted which, along with all the other things, sent up a big red flag.  I looked up the number on this site and saw the comments.  I did not call the # they gave me.

This is a scam....told I won..then they asked for my name and address..

Called me an said his name was Dave  from publishes clearing house . So I stared questioning him an playing along . He then chanel who he was an said he was with the FBI.  So I told him I was with the US Marshals office an asked him if he wanted to proceed with the  call. Then he hung up the phone.
