I was away when the number called. Who is it?

keep getting calls saying that she is an investigator

This leads to the Investigations  Department

It's for the repo of Wells Fargo/Wachovia Dealer services car loans.. At least I think it is. It's the same number I had to call to straighten out my car note payments vs. a repo through them. Not sure if it's an actual repo place or just a department within the bank.

OK.. So, quick update... Just called 877-200-0613 and talked with Ms. Martinez.. She's a Private Investigator.. So, maybe it's not solely for Wells Fargo car loans...

Got a call from Ms. Martinez today. She wanted to know where to pick up my car...stating she was an investigator and that there had been a complaint that I was "concealing a vehicle". Is she an ivestigator or with Wells? And why would she have me to believe that she is with the police dept when it is an 877#? Any helpful answers would be much obliged.

A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

(1)    The false representation or implication that the debt collector is vouched for, bonded by, or affiliated with the United States or any State, including the use of any badge, uniform, or facsimile thereof.

(4) The representation or implication that nonpayment of any debt will result in the arrest or imprisonment of any person or the seizure, garnishment, attachment, or sale of any property or wages of any person unless such action is lawful and the debt collector or creditor intends to take such action.

(5) The threat to take any action that cannot legally be taken or that is not intended to be taken.

(7) The false representation or implication that the consumer committed any crime or other conduct in order to disgrace the consumer.

(10) The use of any false representation or deceptive means to collect or attempt to collect any debt or to obtain information concerning a consumer.

(16) The false representation or implication that a debt collector operates or is employed by a consumer reporting agency as defined by section 603(f) of this Act.

This supposed investigator from Wells Fargo had an older woman in a white car pull up sitting in front of the property I am renting at 11:15 pm. Whats odd is I dont have any kind of a loan with these people. They claimed they saw a for rent sign and were looking for a price on the house I am renting. At 11:00 pm. I figured out she was lying as her story didn't add up. I have told her the cameras caught her, I have filed a police report for suspicious activity, and would be filing a complaint with the FTC. Eventually I got her to admit who she was. I explained neither of us have a loan with Wells Fargo and whatvwouldchappen if she came back. I told her to get the hell off of my propery. Needless to say now We are now going to be awake all night. People, keep your camera running.

She is a very nice woman that its just doing her job. Do you like it when people complain how you are doing your job? Look at yourself instead of criticizing others. That's coming from someone that just got hers snatched up.

This lady whom claims to be a investigator by the name ( Martinez) , kepted calling and leaving voice messages saying she is investigating a loan on a vehicle that is being hidden from her. First off this dame lady sounds like she is a fraud. Secondly, if my vehicle is being placed on repossession why have I never received a letter at my address?? That's becasue she is a foney none of it is true.  She can go suck a [***] nut stupid dumb [***] I'm sorry go find somewhere person to play your game with you lost with me!
