I called again and Amber White answered and asked for my phone number and to verify the last four of my social and then transferred me. I was on hold for a few seconds and disconnected. I'll wait for them to send correspondence via USPS. After all, if I'm being told to pay a said amount, then I have the right to receive all of the back-up documentation supporting the charges. If the collector refuses, then it's not a legitimate claim. It's fraud.

The fact that they asked for the last four digits of your SSN should be a warning sign. Do not divulge any kind of personal information over the phone.

I won a $100.00 giftcard from Wal-Mart or Target claim number #037458975 sounds like a scam

I also received a postcard with no return company address or name on it. Their records indicate  that I have an unclaimed reward on my account!  I called to ask the name of the company and the person at the call center hung up on me. SCAM.
