GRC Collections. Daugther defaulted on student loans I co-signed for. They sent a mock legal document claiming judgement awarded, but no court listed, no seal, no file clerk stamp, etc. They then sent a simular letter to my employer demanding garnishment, quoting lots of statutes, etc with payment dirrect to them. It looked legal until I pointed out that garnishment payments go to a court, not dirrect to debtors. HR asked them to forward a copy of the judgement, they said they would but have not done so. They would only forward the same false document they sent me I'm sure. I filed a complaint with the state DA, but chances are they won't persue it.

These idiots called today in reference to a car that was repoed 5 years ago.  I told them that I have never received any information on the auction amount collected and will do nothing until they provide me with this information.  They refuse to do it.
 For the other posters, I market what used to be PrePaid Legal, now called Legal Shield.  For $26/month, they will go after idiots like these that are abusing our rights.
 I am going to sue them for the difference of what I owed and call it even.
