Left a message claiming it was microsoft security claiming maliciousness information was being transmitted from my IP address.I received calls before from Microsoft but found out it was a scam. This is also a scam I do believe because I don't transmit anything considered harmful. Thy called me two times one about 2 minutes apart.

Several calls stating something like thus:.......  Internet usage policy........your computer is at potential risk, you need to contact Microsoft security center.
The Caller ID on my landline indicates: Spam? 800 Service.....  There is no company name inducated
They have called many, many times.

Overseas Scammers using computer generated voice claiming to be Microsoft and that my computer (Ha-don’t have one) has problems so I should call them and give them all of my bank account information!

Same as those above.  Calling frequently the last 3-4 daysleaving messages claiming to be some Microsoft division that my computer is infected, malicious, and dangerous.

New number, same Microsoft scam.   They've called here with many different numbers for the last 10 years.  Just keep blocking the idiots.

Claims to be company resolving your compromised Microsoft software on your computer. Uses two phone numbers: 877-218-1087 and 8187. SCAM N SPAM phishing. Avoid answering!

Just received a call from this number, claiming to be Microsoft tech - same scam as others have described.  Just blocked the call, but they'll use another number at some point.  Maybe try finding an honest way to make a living?

called and said malicious information was transmitted from my IP address. I was told to call because my computer would be at risk. I called from my cell phone and the person that answered said he was a service tec at Microsoft security. I just told him I had the wrong no and he hung up. Does Microsoft make unsolicited calls concerning the afor mentioned information.

They left a voicemail identifying themselves as the Microsoft Security Center and said my computer was seriously infected and I should call them right away.  Of course it's a scan.  I also notified the FCC.
