Windows authentication scam - threatening to shut off Windows services that will render your computer useless unless you call

Windows Scam, oooohhh gonna shut off my computer if I do not call, this crap needs to stop and these scammers need to be caught, this is already old news so hopefully someone will not fall for it.

They called and left a voicemail with a threat that my computer is at risk if I don't call

Same thing.  Left a voicemail telling me to call Windows Security at this number or I won't be able to use my computer.

Same as above. Call the number or my Windows computer will be useless.

They said the needed credit because my computer windows had expired. I had some fun and said that i  had 8 windows and asked if they were expired would i still be able to see out of them??  He said my computer windows expired and he needed credit. Then i asked if i can still open them to let air in...same thing my computer windows expired and he needed credit. So i gave him a number: 777.p9y-65$1. He hung up.  Great laughs.

Called my house phone and cell phone at the same time. No messages. Has to a scam.

Got a call from this number around 4 PM CST which left a message that my windows computer would be security breached and stop working unless I called 1 855 204 1743 and pay a security deposit.

Didn't answer, blocked!

Robocall scammers claiming my windows computer is infected.  Haha, who even has a computer these days?

The caller said my microsoft program has been breached and will shut down.  Instructed me to press the MS flag looking button + the R key so they can access my computer. I assumed it was a scam.

Also, prior to the call, my computer received a pop up from Microsoft.  Pretty convincing, the pop-up and follow-up call.  BEWARE.  I'm checking with my computer tech person as well.

Robotic voice called my cell said to call their Security Department or my Windows account will be locked out. LOL. What a joke.

Windows scam alert. No company name, just security department and windows had been breached. Due to expire.

rolled to voicemail. Robo voice saying I need to call them toll free at 1-855-204-1743  or my Microsoft windows services will shutdown and I won't be able to use my computer.

Robot voice said I needed to call ‭(877) 218-1404‬ or my computers would be rendered useless because of a security breach on Windows. I guess they never heard of Mac 😂😂😂

Voicemail purportedly from Microsoft, Inc. & claiming my Microsoft software will "shutdown" if I didn't call back immediately.  Hilarious.  No suspicion, this is a scam.

Did not answer a number I did not recognize. The message left said I had a security breach and if I didn't call back immediately my computer would stop working. SCAM.

Just received an automated "robo call"  (5-28-2018 at 3:35 p.m.) Message stated it was from Windows security, that my computer's security  had been breached, and that I was to call this number or my computer would be shut down and I would not be able to use it.  The number to call was 1-877-218-1404.  Unfortunately I do not have caller ID so I was not able to see the number the call originated from.

Same as mentioned before. Didn't realize this sad attempt was being used. I don't even own a PC with Windows, obviously scamola!
