I had just been looking at auto ins. online and had clicked a link for them from
www.onlineautoinsurance.com
where I was comparing quotes.  I had entered my phone no. on that site.  

Under these circumstances this was a legitimate call.

I went online from an advertisment on weather.com. I went to the website that said that I could be eligable for car insurance under 9 dollars per week. This site is http://lifestylejournal.com/are-you-paying-mo ... c1=p157&t202kw=, I went to the site, filled out the forms and then 2 minutes later after recieving an email from this website I have recieved a phone call from this number and a phone call from Nationwide. Just because I placed my phone number down does not mean that I need to be contacted.

Whether you are looking for a new car, TV, Boat, personal or auto insurance, etc..., if you provide your phone number you can and most likely will be called even if you are on the National Do Not Call List.  The reason a company can call you in a situation like this is because you are actually soliciting information from them first.

Haven't even finished the online quote form and they are calling my number.  Really?  How rude!
