Got one hang up call this morning about 9:30 a.m.  I get a lot of these kinds of calls it seems.

AT&T have been calling me from different numbers lately, and it could be one of their many numbers.  Could also be some kind of charity scam that is popular this time of year.

Caller ID just said "Toll Free Call" which is helpful.

Said they were asking for donations for veterans housing.

Did not pick up,
On redialing it is a live number with an answering system that stated "California Veterans Benefit Fund".

I never contribute to telephone solicitations of any type. All contributions are directly to known charities where the most of the money goes to those in need rather than telemarketer or administration groups.

The call came in last night Jan 3rd at close to 8pm my dad answered and it sounded like a survey because the women on the other end asked if he was 18 yrs old he said not and then she hung up.
