Ever since I purchased a GM car I have been getting calls from this number, both on cell phone and home phone!
I assume the lesson is: don't buy GM cars....they trust automated and annoyuing systems to promote their products!
    How pathetic!
No wonder they are bankrupt...no personality, and respect for their customer .

I am on a trial of XM radio and it is about to expire, I can see why they have financial difficulties, way too expensive for my budget  I have no plans for continuing.  I can see this is going to be a difficult exercise based on others experience.

This is the 4th or 5th time they have called over the last few months.  Every time I talk to then I tell them no, stop calling, and take me off your list.  But yet they keep calling.  This is from a free 3 month service I had with a new car I bought.

    Is this harassment?

My free trial xm radio exires this month so I guess I am in for a long pain as I have already told them I will not be renewing.  No wonder they are hurting financially.  I guess they never considered the problem is pricing and a down economy........DUH

XM Sattelite Radio is repeatedly calling its former customers after being specifically told to desist calls.

This is a horrible company. I had a free XM radio trial in my new car but never intended to continue it. At first, I spoke with them nicely and told them NO. Now I will not answer the phone. They call EVERY DAY.

same here.. they call.. they hang up when answering machine kicks on.  I too got XM service in a new vehicle for the 3 month trial but I do not like their pricing structure... they had merge programming with sirus and that (for me sucks).  Amazing how a corp forgets the consumer in building their pricing structure... it's all over priced.. and like cable and satellite TV it forces you buy.. pay extra.. for channels you have no use for.

The smart thing would be to offer cheaper packages... with fewer channels of course.. just the ones that a subscriber might really want.

the bottom line is to pay their fee only subsidizes those that want to listen to Howard Stern's need to get laid.. or his fascination with female private parts.

Why can't the consumer be "king?" in deciding price and services.  Our "LORD and MASTER"  IE Adam Smith wrote that in the Bible for America:  Wealth of Nations.. where it is the consumer, not some exec that decides success by dollars cast their way.

XM like 99.9% of companies in America feel "it's all about them" the consumer is just a commodity to be used like toilet paper and then flushed down the economic Crane fixture.

    Time to say no more!

Geez! I've been wondering who keeps calling! It was about 4 times a day, varying from 7am-8pm. No voicemails of course. I thought it was TimeWarner trying to sell me a landline phone, (Which those of you who may be recruiters...NO, I do NOT want a landline!!). =p My xm was supposed to expire on the 24th of June...but as of today...it's still there. Hmmm?...

I've never answered this mysterious 877 number, but sheesh. Now that I know who it is.. I'll continue to not answer it. They've slowed down to about once a day....which is nice. (Maybe they're getting the point??) It doesn't bother me too much, as most of the time, my phone is on silent...so ha! The joke is on them. =]

I too get daily doses of calls... like others, I got XM with a new vehicle I bought.

The Sons of Bush's don't understand that success is based on fair pricing and quality service, not aggressive marketing via annoying telemarketing.

If they offered better pricing.. packages... I am sure it would more successful for them.  Instead, they have a take or leave attitude in their business model.  They need to shift business model from a luxury market to a commodity.. IE a commodity is something that is cheaply available so every body uses it... price is not a determinant of purchase as it it is "pocket change."  To over price it.. based on limited sales volume... is a death bell for them and they are so self-indulgent they are clueless.  it's like "we're so great, don't you just want to kiss our ass?" metaphorically that is. That's America free enterprise, it's all about them.  Customer is just a "John" to be had.

P.S. If they are calling you all the time and leave a message more than once a day, it is illegal and considered harassment. Also, if they are calling you at work and you ask them more than once not to call you, that is also illegal.

Go to the National do not call registry online and put you phone number in. If they call you after that, it is illegal, but you have to give it a month after you register for it to take effect, but in the long run, it helps a lot:

You can also try sending them letter (make it certified so you know they received it) and tell them you do not want to be called. Once you sent the letter, they are required by law to stop.
    Send it here:
