Came up unknown, but they left a message.  Another number GMAC uses.  First time I've seen this one.

I don't even owe these jerks money, and they call me 4 and 5 times a day.  I won't be buying a GM car ever again because of this crap.

I GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 3-4 TIMES A DAY- THEY APPARENTLY START TALKING BEFORE THE VM BEEPS AND I GET THE END OF THE MESSAGE.
I DO HAVE A GMAC ACCOUNT, BUT THEY BOTHER YOU CONTINUALLY FOR YOUR PYMT, EVEN WHEN ITS NOT DUE YET....

Is it OK for thes place to call me at work constantly??

GMAC They leave half a voice mail message with hours to call but unless you put the number out on here you have no idea who the [***] voice is leaving the message . Annoying part is they start calling the day after your payment due date . Guess they need money for their bailout

I get calls from this number every day.....even Sundays!!!  Sheesh...don't these people get a day off?

They call and call and call and never leave a message.  GMAC will take YEARS to take care of a problem you asked to have them fix and you will NEVER get a response.  But have a payment 30 seconds late...turn off your phone.

Call came up restricted but they left a voicemail to call 877-227-0367.

These people are ridiculous, I have never had an issue until I had fraudulent on my bank account which led to some financial issues until it was all straight. I have talked to 4 people at GMAC all who have documented a 60 day extension on my account and that it will all be taken care of on the 23rd, which they seem to find only after they have called me. I have had the car 5 years and have never been late on a payment or had problems. It seems GMAC may be outsourcing as the service is horrible and the people are very hard to understand, I tried to call them back at 3:30 pm central time and it says the office is CLOSED!

My 11 year old soon gets a phone call from this number.  I have asked and asked them to not call my son.  He does not have an account!

i am also receiving phonecalls from this number, it's was so frustrating and annoying at first but when they had explained everything it was clear, i hope y'all could understand that they are just calling to help our accounts to be updated. in fact, they will only start calling from our due date. we're just only given 30days before they forward us to the credit bureau. so they are helping us we should thank them. the guy also gave me a tip on how to STOP the calls, ready? just give them details about the payment(method of payment, exact amount of the payment & exact date of payment!) they would consider this a promise only if its within 7 days from the date of call. these guys' really helping me a lot.

yes give them all the info then they will stop calling

i asked a friend from gmac and he told me that calls are computer generated thats why representative have no idea if its an answering machine or us who is talking

I had a similar issue in which an extension was granted then got repeated calls urging me to pay right away even though I had a formal letter amending the contract from GMAC. I beleive your conclusions are correct.

I'm having the same problem.  They start calling at 8:00 am on the dot and do not stop.  I don't owe them any money either!

WHY TALK TO SOMEONE OUTSOURCED AND TAKING AMERICAN JOBS. IF
YOU NEED TO TALK TO GMAC CALL THEM UP, THEN YOU TALK TO
SOMEONE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, AND USUALLY, AT LEAST THEY HAVE
FEELINGS.

They called me @ my work and left a voice mail message.

No this is illegal and you have the right to tell them this and file a complaint.

These people are relentless!!!!!!  I have asked them a number of times to NOT call my place of work but they do not listen.  The agent who called was rude, disrespectful and belligerent to both our secretary and the principal.  How can I stop them from calling my place of work?

you can make an online account & go into edit personal info & change your work # or remove it. Tell them in the mean time you have been written up & one more infraction you will be suspended with out pay & possibly terminated & that if that happens it will only push your payments for them later & that you will seek an attorny. you have rights tell them you will turn them into the federal trade commission. You can also tell them as your rights to NOT call you at all only correspond via writing & give them a current address & tell them you will report them to the FTC. Its on there site that you have the right to do this.

GMAC so tired of them.  Payment isnt even late till the 15th and they are harassing me on the 13th.
