Another threat that a claim is being made and they need verification of address and place of employment. Also, this is the final notice by phone. When we don't return the call, let's see how quickly they call back. Who are these scumbags anyway?

This is ARG collections/bottom feeders. Seems they buy old bogus debt and try scare tactics to get people to pay them something.

I received a call today 12/20/17 verifying my name, address, etc. saying the county sheriff is looking for me regarding a civil matter so they could serve me papers. I did not confirm the info was correct but I've experienced this type of scam before. I asked the caller her name, she told me, I told her I was filing a complaint with the attorney general in my state against her company and she abruptly hung up.

They not only called my old home number but they called people on my contact list. How they get numbers for people I’ve called is crazy to me. They leave messages on voicemails with a recorded voice saying the persons name. I think they’re scammers they do this every few years.

I just received a call from this number. An automated message stated the same as other users here. I did not press one to be connected to someone else. I down owe anyone any money, and my phone tagged this number as Scam automatically.

I just received a voicemail message from this number stating the company name of Atlantic Recovery Group "ARG" stating the exact thing as mentioned in the other posts. Who are these people and how are they getting my number?

been getting calls from this number on my direct line at work.  months now.  even pressed '1' once and told them i'm not the woman they claim to be looking for and to stop calling and got yelled at in return.  clearly a scam.
