This number called me, a Mr. McCoy, from Northeastern Processing, left a message that he was trying to contact me about a case he has to file against me, and finally left a message that said he was real sorry but since I hadn't call him back he had to send it on for processing.  The next day I get a message (I never answer these numbers) from a David Nawardo(sp?), claiming to be the process server serving a summons with the same case number as poor Mr. McCoy had.  It was imperative that he get the summons signed immediately, so he was going to be at my house yesterday, and if he didn't find me, he would be at my office first thing this morning.  No show!  Not surprised.  They never show, it's a scam.  If for no other reason than they don't know their lingo - a court filing results in service of a complaint, not a summons, and there's nothing to sign, dimwits.  This David called from a slightly different number, but clearly they're from the same call center.  877-226-6793.  I've been getting these calls for years, literally, threatened with arrest for those "two part felonies", blah blah blah.  I save all the voice mails, turn them over to law enforcement and report them to the consumer financial services bureau and the state justice dept.  Doesn't seem to make a dent in this business.
