They have called for 2 weeks now! It's a legal outsourcing company. Are they telling you that you are an emergency contact for someone that has civil case?

They use the same recording for everybody so it's a scammy debt house of some sort most likely. They say they have a civil complaint involving allegations of possible fraud and that you are an emergency contact on the complaint. Don't you think you would have had this in writing before they tried to contact by phone. Just a scammer trying to get a seat at the table. No chance here!

scam callers/collectors - whoever, whatever - their games are ridiculous - use digitized partial calls, "human subs", wrong addresses,wrong  ss#,  etc - WHEN is this freakn gov ever going to get so much fraud under control???

Same experience...leave threatening messages about social security, civil case.....Really??!!

Received call today, left vm, stated emergency contact for civil suit concerning fraud, supposedly tried to leave a case# but conveniently cut off, then continued to speak

Same crap everyone has previously listed with the exact same language in the automated message.

Got this call, said I was getting charged for fraud, when they said the case number I conveniently couldn't hear them. When I called back it picked up but I could only hear myself. Really freaky.  blocked them right away.

Received the same call from 877-227-8893 regarding an attempt to locate me regarding civil case involving fraud.  If these people where legitimate they would go through the courts and proper channels to notify people, not a recorded message.

Received a call from 877-277-8893. The caller gave the same spill as all the above.  However the person sounded so unprofessional that I do not think any sane person would believe such nonsense from them.

Got the same message just now. Sounded like an uneducated black lady on the other end looking for William Morris about fraud allegations. (A bit ironic, huh). Definitely a scam.
