called and left no message after I ignored another junk call
-might be a roofing company making cold calls to drum up business

Received a call at 7:24 A.M.!  Picked up the phone and an automated message started and I immediately blocked it.

Received call from 877-228-1980 on landline at 10:25 am this morning, Caller ID showed, "Toll Free Call." I didn't answer phone and they didn't leave a message because I don't have Voice Mail. I won't answer and they can't leave a message. Spammers are totally disabled when they call my home. If they call more than twice I block them,. Spammers have failed in their objective. I got rid of my Voice Mail so the phone just rings.

Caller Id said "Air Duct" so I immediately answered and hung up. I have no need for my air ducts to be cleaned, though I suspect the call was more than likely from a scammer.

Received an automated call from 877-228-1980.  They left a partial message that if I wanted to take advantage of the offer to press 1.  Since I don't know what the offer is I deleted the message and blocked the call

Received call - they left no msg. Identified as "Carpet" on my caller ID. I plan to block.

(877) 228-1980 partial voicemail female recorded message about cleaning carpet etc but wanted you to press one or 2 to remove from list. That is a known scam to download grange onto your device. Message had gone to my voicemail. Blocking this number.

Caller id was TOLL FREE NUMBER and it was already blocked for me by the powers that do that.

Received call from 877-228-1980 on landline this afternoon, Caller ID showed, "Toll Free Call." Answered the phone, and caller recording was pushing carpet cleaning.  NOT interest in ANY soliciting telemarketers.  I wish they would all go away, since I am on the worthless DO NOT CALL list.

Saying the DNC is worthless only illustrates your lack of understanding of what it is.

The DNC does work and prevents legitimate business from calling people on the list. It is not a call blocker for those who disobey laws and can't be expected to know who is calling your number.

So the moment you call it back it rings as busy.  It never dialed my house phone - it only dials my cellular phone.

This number is being spoofed by a spam call center.  Automated message offers carpet and air duct cleaning.

Roofing Co in Ohio calling me in Vegas. Strange .... no message left on recording. Blocking number.

I had a gut feeling it was spam and I hung up on them. I'm getting so sick of these idiot spammers calling!
