    I received the email today.  It did include the name in the last paragraph.  Mine was affiliated with Two Rivers Bank, which I did have an account from.  I think maybe I heard where there were redoing some of their software.  Mine was harmless, or possibly seeking information for some reason.

    Got an email email stating that I signed up for Bill Pay which I did not from customercare12746@customercenter.net.  Said to call 877-238-7277 if I did not request bill payment services thru my bank (it had my banks name on it somehow).  Ignored it since I never signed up for it and called my bank support instead....

    I got an email from this number for bill pay. I think it's a scammer but I'm not sure. I've seen many reports of it being scam. Does anyone have an answer?

    From reading the prior posts, I saw that the first one was from 2010, reporting the same scam.
    That is a spam e-mail.
    An e-mail or a phone call is NOT legal notice of a debt.  Nor a fax, smoke signals or carrier pigeon. Do not call these crooks, that is just asking for more emails and more calls.  Dump the e-mail in your spam folder along with the "Government Grants" and the notes from the lady in Africa that has been dying since 1997 and needs a Christian person to distribute her wealth.

    This is phishing at it's highest form. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK and ENTER IN YOUR ONLINE BANKING INFORMATION.
    Contact your bank directly to notify them of this phishing attempt.
