Received the call I said to my self leave me a message no message it came up missed call

Tries to get me to give my credit card for work they claim to have done on my computer. No one has done work on my computer.

Sometimes they ask for donations,  asked for a credit card (yeah right). When I said no, all hell broke loose! These people are something else.

Called 4 to 5 times Mom  thru Friday

Calls from "800 service" at least twice a day.  How can they be stopped??? we never answer.  Thank God for caller ID!!

They called me to contribute to United Cancer Support in Farmington Hill, MI.  I believe they are not a legitimate
charity.

I never agree to a donation over the phone anymore.  Too many scams.  I require them to send their financials or a link to where I can find the information.  No financials, no donation.  This Breast Cancer real sounded fishy.  They gave me a web site and the link labeled "financial report" was empty.

Also, I have started to use a site called Charity Navigator that provides a quick view to the "charity's" legitimacy.

So far in  the past 7 minutes, they have called 3 times. This is with 877-241-8308. Yesterday, 877-218-8371 did it like this.

Receiving several calls a day.  With this many complaints, why can't phone company shut down their number

These clowns call nearly daily and hang up when you answer.

I work at night and I sleep daytime, this no. Keep calling and keep waking me up. I have to check my phone every time it rings cause I have two small kids at school and one of them is a special child, so I can't ignore it every time it rings.

Professional fund raising firm hired by various cancer funds. Fund raising is exempt from Do Not Call list. I just tell them I'm in bankruptcy, ask for all kinds of details to give to my federal bankruptcy trustee to see I'd they'd approve a donation. Sometimes gets them to stop calling.

get calls from this number 4 or more times a day. It's been going on for weeks. Wish they'd give up. I won't answer. I've struggled to make ends meet for the last two years.

Now they are calling stating that I made a pledge to the Veteran's administration.  My dad is with the American Legion.  I asked "When did I make the pledge, and how was the money suppose to be collected?"  They stated: a month ago (stated they were for Breast Cancer) and I could make the payment with my debit, credit, master card, visa.  I told them I will continue to donate to the AL.  She hung up.  They  will try to guilt trip you!

TO EVERYONE THAT GETS CALLS LIKE THIS (and yes I WAS getting calls from them about donating to FAV veterans... and when I did a charity rating search about them it came up with an F rating... most of the money goes to the top people not the vets!

Do not give them money or pledge money to them because MOST of it will NOT get to the vets! Do a search on them:  "FAV" chairty...

SO HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH 'any' UNWANTED CALLS AND THIS WORKS!!!!
Have your TV or a radio near you phone and when the call just pick up your receiver (and don't say anything) turn up the sound all the way on your radio or TV and hold your phone receiver over your tv or radio speaker or close to it and it will BLAST the ____ out of them and they soon will STOP calling your number.

This is my story exactly.  How sad to know that the Breast Cancer Society is still badgering people in the same way five years later

The company calls my home phone number, nobody speaks for few seconds and then asks for one of the house holders., " Is Bruce there?" after one of us answers "yes" no one says anything else. Called this number right back, and nobody answered. It was a recorder with a message that no one was available to take my call, to leave my name, phone number and message and they will return my call. I did not leave a message. The company's name is Associated Community Services, a non profit fundraiser communication. Call was received on 2/9/17 at 8:30 am

Received a call from this number with no caller identification.  Did not answer for I assumed it was a charity asking for money which I don't have.  Very annoying.

I get the same calls several times a day .... once you give, they hound you for more!  DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS ... then in about 6 months, they'll finally quit.  I don't think any of it goes to a charity ... it all goes in their pockets!  They have NO conscience.  Just GREED!
The have out-smarted the NO CALL LIST.
