call and dont leave a message

This morning was the 2nd day in a row at 8:15 AM they called, so I picked it up.  Recording came on with a male voice - "Hi, & thank you for your patients.  This is a homeless veteran..."  I hung up at that point.  
I assume the next part would be asking for money.  If they were legit, there would be an organizations name on the caller ID, or at least one when looking up the number.
Not that it will help, but will report the number.

Called 9:27 AM again - keeps calling - doesn't leave a message

This number appears on my phone several times a day. They leave no name,

Got a few calls from 877-241-8760 but they never leave a message.

These guys never stop calling .. I'm sick of it!!!

Receive calls from this number everyday, they don't say anything.  Think it is a charity that we declined to donate to so now in retaliation they call us over and over...this has been going on for at least 6 months.

My Mom & I get these jerks wanting donations every week around noon or 6 PM.We have already told them that we are on the DO NOT CALL List but they don't give a damn. They will when our complaints are taken to CT's attourney Generals Office !!!

Received a call again this morning and answered it. It is supposed to be a charity for America's Homeless Veterans. I checked online, and they have provided no information to the Better Business Bureau.

how do I stop these people from calling me at least 6 or 7 times a day, at all hours??  I don't answer toll free calls and this one never gives up.  IT IS VERY ANNOYING!!!!!

they called me this morning as asked for a donation for troubled veterans coming home from Afganastan, I told them I would donate. They sent me to the next step and that person said the donations were for homeless veterans.. I told them to get their story straight and that I no longer wished to donate.. I am a veteran, my son in law is a veteran with Tramatic Stress Disorder.. I will never donate over the phone again..

Call early,late all day everyday! How can we can get them to stop?

I receive on average 6 calls a day!
They ask for my wife only and when they hear my voice, just hang up in my ear!
I am sick of it and I'm reporting this # to the FCC.

They called, at 8:39pm.  only said my husbands name on the voice mail and then it disconnects.

they call several times a day/week. i consider it harassment at this point.

Call constantly... All hours of the day and night ! If you answer no one talks... Been going on for several months... We are sick of whoever is doing this... Caller ID is helpful....

Many calls made to an elderly relative which they asked many personal questions. The phone number was changed to prevent these scammers from calling.
