Lady named Sarah (either Roberts or Owen I couldn't quite hear) called about a student loan forgiveness form I need to complete and told me to call back at a different number than what was called on. definitely a scam

Sarah Robert from student loan support called to tell me I am eligible for a loan forgiveness program but never completed the required documents.

I just received a text message from this number as well from Sarah Robert but when I called back a man answered. They said they were a loan forgiveness company from the Department of Education. I asked was it federal or city and they didn't know what I meant at first until I said what company are you representing. I couldn't get a direct address or an exact company name.

They are NOT from the Department of Education!!

I returned their call and the prompts on their phone system are a huge red flag.  Such as, asking how large my loan is and if my household income is over $1500 a month.  What does that have to do with loan forgiveness?  So, don't get your hopes up - this is not a bailout.  If you have a student loan, your loan company would be reaching out to you and they would state the name of their company.  This is sketchy.

I got a call from Sarah Roberts telling me I haven't completed documents for student loan forgiveness. I think it's a scam.

Sarah Roberts on my vmail with this # as call back.  Caller ID = 206-761-2887 though.

Received call from the same Sarah Robert's, When I called back number seemed very suspicious so I just hung up. Automated system asking me how much my household makes how much my student load is didn't make sense. With that I'm saying without a doubt 100% scam!

You will receive this voicemail “Hello this is Sarah Robert from student loan support our records indicate you were eligible for a loan forgiveness program but never completed the required documents if you want to proceed with this application we need to speak with you today please give us a call back at 877-243-3099 to secure your benefits…”

So I called them back so much to play on their phones and not giving them any of my information and asking them for their personal information instead that they ended up blocking me.

Someone named Sarah Roberts called the number from Mississippi. They left voicemail for me to call 8772433099. Yet the call back number and number from Mississippi not the same. She says she is calling from student loan support and tells me they been trying to reach me and they are student loan forgiveness program I have to call to finish documents that are required. Yet I received this call before different number and I called the number they told me to and spoke to a man and then got disconnected. So, literally I just hung up and knew scam. As you know your student loan providers will get in contact with you and you will know. Everyone out these days it seem to scam people and get their money and information.

I've been getting these calls a lot lately.  I never went to post-secondary and therefore definitely don't have student loans, so I assumed it was a scam or possibly fraud.  Glad I trusted my gut.  The most recent number that called me was on January 31, 2022 from 207-865-8247.  My voicemail service transcribed the message: "This is Sarah. Hello this is Sarah Roberts from student loan support. Our records indicate you are eligible for a loan forgiveness program but never completed the required documents. If you want to proceed with this application we need to speak with you today. Please give us a call back at 877-243-3099 to secure your benefits."

Got a call with the exact same message as the comments above, only the number they left me with was 877-219-2422. Too bad it's scammy, I could use some student loan forgiveness.

Got very similar call from a “Josh Nasser” with “student loan support.” The voicemail was from a different number as the missed call notification on my phone and the call back was also different: 8772400899
Seems very sketchy so I never called but when I saw this I confirmed there’s no way I’m calling them back!

So the information that was provided in the voicemail was vague and they wanted callback from a different number.
Don't give them a call back!

Yeah, Sarah Roberts also called me today. But I have completed my form long ago

If you completed your "form" with her organization then you were/are being scammed.

Same scam.. also Joshua called with a different number.
