- Caller: ?
- ttthey called yesterday and i answered it, no one was there. they called this morning, i missed it, tried calling back and busy tone. WHAT THE HELL?? i think it might be the newspaper people trying to get me to subscribe. they said they took me off the "list", but never did. they used to call from a different number everyday at like 8 or 9pm for about one month, then changed to another number, so this must be a new one. if it's them....I HATE THEM!!
- StephanIt is another one of those credit card scams where they say they have a reward for you, but they make you sign up for stupid unwanted offers. They've called three times per day. I answered and told them I am not interested. They hung up.

They called today Nov. 12th and the woman said they were calling about a credit card that I have and she even game me the last four #s of the card which were right! Then she and other people in the background started laughing and hanged up. what did I do? REPORT IT AND CLOSED THE ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY!

- D.Mthis caller calls every day sometimes 2-7 times a day they leave no message and when i do answer they hang up or put me on hold. One day they called at 5:30 in the morning and i happened to answer the phone. They went into their speal and gave me the last 4 digits of my bank card saying I had won free gas for a year all i needed was for her to put the paperwork through and that they wanted $3.95 for a processing fee. When I repeated to the woman I wasn't intrested she just kept talking over me till I screamed into the phone for her to stop and listen and then told her I was not intrested and reported to my bank to block any online transactions unless I okayd them nothing ever went through.

- MAH| 1 replyThey call me 3 or 4 times per day. Whenever I answer, there is silence then they hang up. I try to call back and all you get is a busy signal. Anyone know how to stop them?
- MAH replies to MAHThey just called again at 8:01pm same thing...I answered, no sound on their end, then disconnected. I called back, buys! I tried to dial zero, but I guess there are no operators to report it to.
- MAHI called back ...busy....sorry typo in previous entry
- LuisThis 877-244-2396 Has been calling me about 7 times a day. No answer and busy tone when I call them back. Did someone find a way to stop these people? This is some kind of skim to probably make money!
- bradkThese people call me 5-7 times a day. I finally answered and it is something to do with one of my credit cards (they gave me the correct last four digits). Supposedly it is some sort of free gift or gift certificate that i have earned by using my card. No cost, no obligation. But to get it I have to give them my address, etc. which it seems they should have if they have my credit card information. So I told them I did not want the gift. They don't take no for an answer. She kept saying "why would you say no to a free gift?" Finally I just hung up on her. She called back one minute later, babbling about the free gift. I tried to be nice, but finally had to hang up on her babbling. She called back immediately and this time I was rude and said do not call this number again I am not interested. She said "fine sir, your loss. Your big mistake." That was a couple months ago. Now they are calling again.

- toniDoes anyone know what company this number is for? I have delt with about 5 different companys doing the same "gift card" phone call and they have stopped calling, but I dont know what company this number belongs to so I have no way to call them back....the number they call from is never the number you can call back. I used the number on my bank statement where they charged the account there should be a number listed.

- lizI keep getting calls from this number, they tell me that I have won something, and that they need to go over my mailing information. After going over my information, they ask if I would like a trial for magazines. Then they want my credit card information. I told them I didnt have the card on me and they got mad and hung up on me. Then they had the nerve to call back. I no longer accept calls from this number, it doesnt keep them for calling me 10 times a day.
- JJ| 1 replyDO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALL !!!! If you say yes to anything, they will take it out of your cc number. I've lost $70 from and I'm checking to make sure that is it. They deserve cancer!

- Evan - Important! Read this!Yes, my call was similar to the above and I told the guy as soon as he started talking that I was not taking a sales call. He said it was not a sales call but a reward for purchases I made using my visa (and he had the 4 last digits of one of my cards. He began talking really fast like an auctioneer or something. I did verify my address because he said they were sending me as a thank you for all of my visa purchases, a walmart gift card for $100.00 and a $400.00 gas card. I said no way will you send those as a thank you and questioned him over, and over. I told him I didn't want my credit card billed and I was not agreeing to anything. He said there was absolutely NO OBLIGATION! He said he was just sending my free gifts to me along with some advertisements for some products and I can look at them or not, but the gifts are mine to keep. I reiterated that I was not oking this if this was some kind of marketing trick, but he assured me that my card would not be billed. Flash forward a few days and I start receiving Memberships to an ID protection service and a long distance discount membership. I also received some anti aging cream and my credit card WAS BILLED! I had to call and have 2 memberships cancelled and get an authorization # to send the cream back (Billed me $70.00 for the cream) It cost me a lot of time and and the cancellation fees and the cost of shipping the creams back. I spoke with one of the companies customer service managers and she said they used several telemarketing companies but that they had decided not to use them anymore because of endless complaints like mine. The marketing company that owns this # is breaking the law, since the one Customer Service lady said that they only receive a portion of the recorded call from the marketing company. (Any portion where you say, "Yes" like when he asked me if I still lived at the same address. That was the only time I said yes to this scumbag on the phone. Whoever owns this # I am trying to pursue legally now. Does anyone know how to reverse this # and find out the Company info? I am also going to take this up with the better business bureau, since this marketing company is more than cutting corners; they are changing the facts of the call and lying to these companies saying I agreed to trial memberships and creams when I repeatedly told them I was not agreeing to anything or obligating myself or authorizing you to bill my card. Well they did it anyway and now I want payback! Hang up immediately on anyone that calls from this # I also found out that even if you are on the National Do-Not-Call list, you take yourself off the list by purchasing anything over the internet, TV or phone. So from now on I'll do my shopping in stores only. Hoped someone else learns from my experience. If anyone has the information for who owns this phone #, please post it so I can go after them!
