Caller name was not identified. Caller did not like my answering machine message. Caller ID showed call was from 800 Service. Left no message.

Agree totally! I absolutely DO NOT (NEVER, EVER!) answer calls from numbers and/or names I don't recognize. Despite that fact, some of these idiots ring my number from 30 to 40 times per DAY (every 10 or so minutes until shortly after 8:00pm), never once leaving a message. So, what's the productive purpose of that??? Seems to me it's for the sole purpose of harassment, which should be illegal.

Bought a call blocker (worth its weight in gold!!) for my home phone... Calls are blocked! When they Co.d through o. Iphone, it has an option to block as well!

This number just called my business line. Check here, discover it's a political call and block it. Yes, a blocking phone is truly worth its weight in gold. Since it costs nothing to robodial millions of phone numbers and there's nothing anyone can do to stop them... block them.

It blocks on my do not call list. I have a Panasonic kx-tg7741. It think it holds 30 numbers to block and does not discriminate.

I have had them blocked for weeks, but they still call once or twice every day including nights and Sundays. I'd love to rip their voice box out of their throats but I never answer and I don't even know they are calling because my call blocker let's them hear one ring and the an intant hangup. I don't know they are calling until I look at the log on the Call Blocker. So, they can keep calling for the next five years and I will never hear it or even see it on my Caller ID because the phone allow only one ring and it takes at least two rings to identify by Caller ID.

This number continues to call my business line, so far every day. They're blocked of course, they get a click and nothing more. But my guess is that the filthy scumbags that own 800-942-1970 sold their robodialer list to the scum that own this number. So each day some low paid drone presses a button and millions and millions of numbers are robodialed again and again and again in hopes that one person in a 1000 will fall for whatever crap they are peddling thereby making it all worth their while.

I don't mind a couple calls, everyone has a right to try to raise money or awareness or collect polling data. But there really needs to be a law that makes it illegal to endlessly harass people like this. So long as our elected dirtbags are bought and paid for by big money it ain't gonna happen.

I have received several calls from this number. I finally decided to call it back. I was given the option of placing my number on their do not call list. I did. Now I will see if this ends the calls.

Thank you for posting.  I did not answer this call, but after reading what you did, I called and added my number to the Do Not Call List.  We'll see if they stop calling.

Legislation to reverse Citizens United is a MUCH MUCH BETTER DISINFECTANT. Gets rid of the rats too!!

No matter how you handle these calls, they will continue.  Rather than listening to the annoying ringing phone, I  now immeditaley turn the phone on, then immediately turn it off.  This has really cut ours calls down to maybe 3 or 4 calls per week.You can always look up the number ( if you have google) and then call back if necessary).

Call came in on Sunday. No voicemail left.
