I received a call from an unknown number saying they were from lake shore financial stating they have a claim against me from st Armand's group for a pay day loan I didn't agree to on an old bank account I closed I did receive they 250 but was unable to return it for I've had other payday lenders doing the same thing to me so I just withdrew all money from the account an closed it not sure if this is a scam or not

Received same type of phone call, this is fraud.  First I do not owe any money.  I looked up the account and phone number and this is not a legit business.  I hope no one gives money to these people.  

i got a blocked call from lake front financial they were talking about some loan i never took out had know idea what they were talking about saying they were gonna take me to court and have documents served to me i waited for the guy to come with them and he never did. they called me the next day saying they stopped by and tried to serve me but i was home all day and no one ever came and on the previous call i made sure that they had my correct address and they confirmed it with me so this is a total scam if anyone receives a call from them please disregard it because its a total scam

This number keeps calling my phone threatening me with service of summons to court. Obviously this is a SCAM and I hope no one will fall for this pathetic attempt to collect on a debt that I have already paid off. The company which is left to contact is LAKEFRONT PROCESSING. Please report to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and file a complaint.

people at lake front called me started talking about taking me to court for a pay day loan that i never took out i hung up but they called me the next day and day after that its all bull [***] i called the better business bureau and asked about them and they said they've never heard of them but for the next time they call to report it again so the proper authorities can get involved and resolve the matter once and for all so i advise anyone with the same troubles to do the same to stop these scum bags

Spoke to individual at Lakefront...they are a complete scam....Call the Police or FBI to report them!!!! They are not a real company they won't even give you there mailing address.

Called me and my mom harassing with a angry yelling black man saying he has a claim against me but won't tell me who they are or anything.

Let me give the run down of my experience today 10/24/2014. Dan( 1.800.866.6080) called first on 10/03/2014 and ask for payment, he stated he was from an attorneys office, I ask him to mail me a letter with the exact debt amount. He did . I got the letter today 10/24/2014. I called him after opening the letter and advised him the payday loan I received was paid and full and I have the paid in full letter I received and the agency name he listed is not on my bank printout as the company I borrowed from so I need a letter stating who was the original lender and who bought the loan , he immediately recanted his story and said I believe you and I will closed the case. as I hung up and not 3 minutes letter I get a call from (1.866.207.9429) I let it go to voice mail and he let a message ( Hi this is Jack Malone calling from a private locater service I need to service you sealed office documents, please call me back at 1.866.207.9429..(how are you a locater service calling from with in the company , shouldn't you be our locating? )....I called back ask for him, they tell me no they  want me to talk to someone else who is trying to get me to verify my ss#, and by the way they had it wrong. then I ask for his number so he can serve me , they would not give it to me. then I say what's your street address , they say I can't have it. .......So they say you can fax in your paid in full letters, no you can give me you street address for lakefront and yes I want to be served and I want to go to court. she says ok. I told her have him call me , I will be more than happy to meet him at his convenience.  So all the number listed and I have found complaints on is the same company. I know this is a scam and they are all working together , they are all probably sitting in a room together transferring the call to one another.  How in the world does two and three different companies call in the same week about the same thing and they all have the same scripted lines. They purchased the account or they have been hired to collect. they all have the same scare tactics. In reality if you are really legit and trying to collect from someone , why not be nice, why are you so mad about someone else's debt. that's the first clue that it is not legit. It is never this serious. EVERYONE DO YOU RESEARCH , NEVER LET ANYONE SCARE YOU. THIS IS A REAL SCAM. I WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU POSTED AS I RECEIVE CALL . WHEN I CAN VERIFY YOU ,THEN WE CAN TALK, UNTIL THEY CAN GIVE ME WHAT I NEED I CAN NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED. ANYONE WHO IS USING A SCARE TACTIC ON YOU IS BRAKING THE LAW.  Call your local police department like I did and file a police report. I have nothing to hide. .
