They call from an unknown number first and give you a reference number and the number 877-254-7099 and instruct you to call and use this reference number. They try to sat they ate county mediation and that someone is wanting to take you to court for unpaid debts. It's scary because they are accessing your social, birthday, and your credit report which can all be used to steal your identity. And when you let them know you know about their scam then they pretend to dispatch police officers from your county. There is even a company with the name coubty mediation in Alpharetta,  Ga. I hope that everyone that receives these phone calls will report them to the government like I am.

I received a phone call claiming i own a debt and thenfirst call came from Georgia now today they left a voice mall on cellphone and even my brothers cell phine claiming that they were going to take me to cpurt in Miami Dade which is where i reside

they keep calling my cell and my home phone. They think it is funny, I called them back and said I reported them .

I agree I received the same kind of message and they are harassing my sister in law

They just called me from this number and they called my son and my father. I called them back to report them. they said to my son they want to serve me, that the file was referred, etc.  A gentleman called very aggressive.

I have been getting these phone calls for the past few days about a debt I suppose to have had give years ago. They telling me I need to send 171.00 a pay period. I ignore their calls

They called with an unknown number to my cell phone. Left a voicemail stating that they were serving papers on me for a case. Then called my ex husband and said the same thing. I called them back and the lady was very rude and demanded that I make a payment or they were going to arrest me. Needless to say...I told them to come on and do it as I didn't owe anyone any money. She started calling me every name in the book...I hung up.

Should I stop my card I was a fool and fell for their pushyness.

If there is a company by the name of County Mediation or Global Mediation in Alpharetta could you please give me more details?

The "company" is fictitious.  There won't be a legally verifiable street address for these vermin.  Just block the call and move on.

I doubt that there is company by the name "County Mediation" since a web search brings nothing up.  Global Mediation is a well known debt scammer who is probably not in Georgia.

Said I owed from a check and go 472.50

I had an unknown call this morning, didn't answer. Heard voicemail, saying if I don't make a payment by end of day, my case will be sent to local county and I will be served and arrested. I spoke to same lady last month and they are very cocky, pushy telling me I need to pay a debt that was from a pay day loan in 2010. I honestly do not remember this pay day loan. I'm on disability, and scared of being arrested, I gave them $50 of it last month. They demanded me to pay $125 a month for 5 months to pay off. I explained I'm on a fix income I can't do that. She insisted that's the lowest they can do and if I don't stick to this commitment, I'll be arrested and put in jail. Of course, I'm so scared. I simply cannot do that high of payment. Now, going back to that unknown call this morning, I did so much research on number of 877-254-7099,from Alphretta, Ga I'm reading same exact experiences. Every comment/post its saying ignore these people, they can't arrest me. About 2 hours ago, I received a phone call, didn't recognize #, listened to voicemail, now I gentleman called from Albuquerque, NM demanding I make this payment that was scheduled or they will call my county courts (which they did have correct, where I live) and have my case, papers sent there and put a warrant out for my arrest. It scared me cause they know all my information. I'm hesitant to call them back. I checked the number he called from, 505-410-1667. Its a cell number. I looked it up on line, it appears on list of scam numbers out of New Mexico. So I am still scared, yet skeptical, nervous & confused. What should I do?
