I have received two calls in two days and a voicemail is left.  Russell from 'Seminole Energy' needs to speak with me regarding my natural gas account.  I don't have a natural gas account, nor have I ever heard of Seminole Energy.  The originating number is from Orange County, CA, but tells me I 'need' to call back at the above 877 number.  When I call back, there is a very low answering service that says something about 'Seminole energy telemarketing services.'

Recieved a calll from "Jordan" regarding our gas account. We don't have a gas account with these people and I did not call back.

Same as others - received several messages about my account at seminole, of which I have none.  Called back to get a really low vm recording that I could not hear or understand.  I would advise not to call if you get a similar message.

Same, received call from Sally at Seminole Energy "I need to talk to you about your natural gas account." We have no natural gas account. Must be telemarketing.

I am getting telemarketing calls from 877-254-8169 even though I'm on the National Do Not Call Regisitry.

I got the same call on two separate lines that are unrelated (!) same crap about gas account.  When I get a chance I will call them back and waste as much of their time as possible.  Certainly a bogus call of some sort.  I am VERY good at wasting time!

Got a call from a Jordan a few days ago. Said some crap about natural gas account, I told them to send paper work or some legit papers because we have no such account. He said we can do everything over the phone and needed account number asap. I hung up and drove to several big corp branches that I'm affiliated with and they ran the number and said it doesn't belong to them and they said it was definitely a scam and they proceeded to file a report on it.  Next time they call I'm going to transfer their call to a buddy cop of mine that would love to waste their time.

this is a message to the bustard names James Gains, that introduced himself and said he needed to speak with an owner of the practice in regards to PG&E account. F U! GO F yourself and DIE! Stop calling and harassing people that have actual job to do, you low life peace of [***].
I think that Do Not Call registry is the actual culprit in all of these types of calls, because I've registered all of my lines with them, and about three months ago, I've started to get calls on my lan lines and texts on my cell lines from all sorts of places. I swear I have a feeling that their db got hacked or they actually sell our phone numbers, there is no other explanation, as the phone numbers that they call on, were and still are unlisted! F this, I cant stand those people wasting my time like that!

I, too, got a call from Shawn Vina with Seminole Energy about my "natural gas account". It came in on my cell # which is not listed. Called back just to hear who the company was as I figured it was a scam.

I also got a call from Seminole energy re my gas account which I don't possess.

I talked to someone from 877-254-8169.  They wanted me to switch my third party gas supplier to them.  I was currently paying $0.718 per therm and they were offering $0.273 per therm.  As I understand there is a glut of natural gas in the US due to all the fracking going on it seemed legit.  Seminole is listed on the PG&E website as a possible third party supplier along with my current supplier Spark Energy.  Spark would only go as low as $0.599 with a 12 month contract.

I usually hang up on these type of calls too.  Guess they caught me in a good mood.

Why does PG&E allow these people to do this?   My call was from Markus Russell but I told him I was not interested.

Got the same call at a business i work for, didn't call back because we don't have natural gas. Decided to Google and saw it was only a scam!
