I didn't pick up, but when I checked my voice mail there was nothing there.  Who is the scum bag behind this number?

NYU/Langone Medical billing. Federal law (apparently) prevents them from leaving a message on your voice mail.  Thus the repeated calls w/o a message.

I was also told that if you mailed in your payment by credit card like I did, that it can take up to 3 weeks for it to appear in their system.  The left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing.  You'll have to call them back and let them know you paid to stop receiving calls.

got a long (1:34) message from this number. the message contained the following callback number : 866-814-9658 can't find anything in that number.

Got a call from 877-254-9345 I pick up said hello 7 times. No answer silent for 30 seconds I hung up as someone said here NYU Langone is notorious for their billing and collection practices. I paid copay at the doctor’s clinic but I get bills from MA. I live in NYC. Insurance company paid for lab services but they billed me for $100 for an ultrasound report charged to my insurance $1200 and they want $100 from me.  As someone said here ‘the left hand In billing and collections don’t know what the right hand is doing’.  Honestly I am thinking about going to any doctors or labs associated with NYU langone.  I get numerous bills in mail but none of them says nothing about the charges are for which doctor and what services and dates of service. Sorry I should stop now. Lot more to say but...

Correction: I am thinking about NOT NOT going to any doctors or services WHO ARE ASSOCIATED WITH NYU LANGONE

Yeah well Dr Grossman and all the other greedy upper executives as well as the board members have to collect their huge ridiculously inflated multi-million $ salaries and bonuses. All while trying to bury unethical behaviors from numerous physicians. So the money is there ONLY thing they care about at NYU.
