Trying to collect different amount of money..Seems fishy

called my job saying that i have officially been served over the phone?

Did anyone ever have any issues with these people after they called...meaning did they serve you with papers or anything>>>> They told me that I was going to be served cause I didn't pay them.  I didn't even know I owed them anything.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS SUPPOSED BAR GROUP AND THEY SAID I WAS BEING INDITED FOR WHAT I DO NOT KNOW.... I CALLED THE FBI AND THE FTC (THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION) I SUGGEST YOU ALL DO THE SAME SO WE CAN FIGHT THEY BOZOS ITS A PHONE SCAM ACCORDING TO THE FBI....

i received my first call from this number 1-877-255-1947  and the man mr. darren cade gave his name said i had a check a bad check.... i don't even use checks so what is this......... I was cuious so I reported the nimber to my attorney general...

CALL KEEP COMING ACROSS MY PHONE  THE FIRST TIME I GET THIS CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THE MAN LEFT A NASTY MESSAGE ON MY PHONE..... VERY RUDE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL...

did anyone actually get served? i got same msg, but come on they have to file paper work in your state send to process server and does the process server really call you to call the plantiff, no they just serve the paper work i call there scam, come serve me [***]! and serve you paper work they have to file with your court so call court to see

I had a call telling me that they are investigators, and that I am in the process of being served for not paying a Payday Loan.  That the processor will come and serve either at my home or place of business. I admit I have an unpaid Payday Loan, but are they trying to scare people by using all the legal terms. They want me to money gram the amount owed and everything will be dropped.

The caller said he was from the Bar Group and was calling about a bad check.  I do not have any bad checks out.  He said I was being "served" and told him I had no money.

they cant serve you without having a summons and complaint filed with the court in your county, i called my court on such papers so they are trying to scare us

file a complaint to https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ they are using illegal collection methods stop them please take the 5 mins to file a claim

My employer received a call from someone stating that the were from The Bar Group and that I was being served papers. When I called to find out what they wanted I was told that they could not discuss the information over the phone

Ii got a phone caller that left a voice message on my cell phone stating that they were going to serve papers on me in the next 24 to 48 hours. The person told me it was the Bar Group that had the papers to be delievered to me and when I tried to call them back I got told to leave a message that the person at that extention was on the phone. The person that called me told me her name as Cindy Lucas gave me no phone number for her just the phone number for the bar group which is 888-415-5290 extention 322. Has anyone had a call from them.

Yes i received a call from this company today with the 1-888-415-5290 stating that i had been notified and that i would need to contact him to set up a time and a place for us to meet and handle this matter...im confused..his name was Mike Sanchez and he stated that i had a bad check..the thing is that i dont use checks.  He also stated that he had a court summons for me to appear and if i didnt it would be a failure to appear which could cause a warrant to be issued.  If you ask me its harrassment and a bad way to do business

I got a call and they lady states they will be serving me paper for failing to pay back a payday loan for a bounced check, but the amount I got the loan for is not the amount they want to collect, its got to be against the law to file criminal charges for a debt we do not have debt prisons anymore. The Bar Group is a collection agency. If figure if I'm going to court for a payday loan the jails would be full

They were calling me everyday and my sister in law. I started to call them back about 5-6 times a day asking for information to be sent to me. they would just hang up on me. Now after 1 month of no calls they are now starting to block the calls..

they called my sister home my home my friend home telling me if i don't try to resolved this issue i would be served on my job and at my home i don't have no money i tried to give the back some i owed them 1000 dollars i think i gave them five and they want more!!!!!! well they just gonna have to take me to court cause i cannot pay no more!!!!!!

DO NOT GIVE IN!!!!!!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!! I ACTUALLY MADE A PYMNT WITH THEM AND GAVE THEM MY ACCT INFORMATION TO CONTINUE TO DRAFT MONEY, AND WHEN I GOOGLED THEM I SEEN IT WAS A SCAM!!! THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO CLOSE MY ACCT AND VOID THE PYMNT!! WHEN I CALL THEM BACK TO TELL THEM I KNEW THEY WERE A SCAM THEY STARTED TO HARASS ME, AND CALL MY PHONE LIKE 10 X'S BACK TO BACK SAYING RUDE AND MEAN THINGS!!!!!!
