A message from "Leiutenant Jones" to call his office.

Hahaha just another collection of scammers. Do not answer or believe anything they say.

A message saying to call their lawyer at this number ... but I owe nothing

i get one saying to call the office of matthew summerville or something close to that and its urgent. saying its the last chance to call.  its always the last chance and they call all the time. I have no debt anymore

Last Week i got a call from the same number different person Same message. This week i get a call from the same number, same message but different person, his name this week is Matthew Summerville. These guys are just scammers. Don't listen to them.

These [***] don't give up, they have been calling for about two weeks. Everytime i block their numbers they call from a different number all with the same message. Looking for my mother who is retired by the way. Have your lawyer call our office. this is your last chance. every call is her last chance. The last two message have changed "We need your cooperation in connection to rendering our final decision. And they say We have recently mailed out the time sensitive documents. My mother has never received these so called documents. They never say who they are, they just leave a number and their address. 1-877-670-8910 address 6285 North Ham Drive, mississauga, ON

Same message as everyone is reporting.   Quiet rude

Get  Call Blocker App. For your cell phone. Free at Google Play Store, or Get a Call Blocker Device for your home phone. Just block the numbers that are harassing you. They sometimes disguise their number with Call Spoofing, so don't answer call you don't recognize. Let them go to voicemail.
Never Ever Call Them Back.
Never send money.
Never speak to them, they will harass you more.
They will take your money then pass your information to another agency, and the process starts all over again. It never ends.
They will lie, cheat , and break the law, just to make money.
Remember:  They have no legal authority to make you pay.

Mine was exactly the same, word for word as somewhat nerdy stated. It's insane that although there are laws on the books tI say when debt is no longer valid, there is apparently no way for the gov't or police to shut thee illegal businesses down! They are basically harassing and robbing Canadians and our own gov't obviously couldn't be bothered.
I never answer numbers I don't know anymore (I don't owe anyone money either) I block but they just steal local numbers and piggy back on them; again isn't that illegal!?
Im getting to the point where I hate my phone.

The message included the words  "Final Warning."  I was so happy.  The crooks never kept their word.

Just received a call from this number 1-877-269-5540. Message said last warning! End of the World? No doubt from a debt collector.
Please note they use a few other numbers (1-855-834-2140 and 1-844-610-3970) so far/ all with the same voice message. Block any number you don't know!!!

Same as above "last chance".  Total scammers

Just got a call from them.  Message says they're looking for someone i don't even know.

Receiving messages every other day from a Lawyer by the name of Kenneth Jones.  Each message left sounds automated.  Each message says the same thing, namely, "Kenneth Jones is leaving a message for Kendal Pride (Hyde) regarding a mandate issued against stated person.  The telephone number given to  call back is:  1 - 877 - 269 - 5540.

They call about 6 times a day, interupting my work

Our records shows that we have made several attempts to contact you and you have refused to return our call. A final decision has been made, Have you or your lawyer contact our office immediately, or further actions will be taken against you.

Well Morons: I will never call you back
                     I will never answer your calls.
What further actions can you take? Not legal legal ones.
You will never, ever scam me out of my money.
I know you read what people are saying and leave fake posts.

Thank god I have 'Call Display'. These [***] have called from 5 different numbers over the past 3 months and let the phone ring only 3-4 times to avoid my answering machine ! But as they say, 'Ve Have Vays.......'

Once again the toll free number is 1-844-228-6908.

Notice the DIFFERENT call back number!
