I've been getting this same automated call- it is actually not for me but my cousin and the last name is her last name from 5 years prior to her getting married. We both have no idea who or what its for but it still comes once a month or so always expressing it is urgent and needs to be dealt with day of.

Automated call... This is NCR .."call before commencement"...Commencement of what ? Just do what you have to do and quit f****kin harrassing me !

Debt collection scammers

I received a call from this call, again about commencement..... Of what? Why? Which? Whenn? Who?

They've called my house, my parents house (I haven't lived with them for over 4 years) and moat recently my work!  I have nothing in collections so I have no idea why they'd be calling

NCR keeps calling my cell and leaving automated messages to call by the end of the day... Its very annoying considering the message asks for some guy whos name i cant even pronounce. Guess I'll call the # and see what happens... Spoke to lady she took # off the list- she did ask if i worked with or knew of the person. Said she was removing the # from their list. Will see.

Received call with automated message indicating that Mohammed (or his counsel) needed to call back before end of day...  I am not Mohammed so I called, explained the situation and the lady politely asked for my phone number to remove me from their database...  Not holding my breath on it though.

They call ma first and second  and last name,don't know how they get all information,and they tell me to call by the end of the day?????

Received numerous calls from 1-877-269-59226: NCR for a Jason A Carter (not me or anyone I know).  Had to leave a voicemail message requesting my number to be removed from the list.  Not holding my breath that this will be done - very frusterating.

I got a call but it wasn't for me. It was for my mom. Don't know how they got her information or how they got my number. Some sort of scam

Got multiple calls from this # at work.  Looking for Adolfo Cubas (who apparently is a well known Venezuelan actor). According to the call, he had a contractual breach with a Mr. Bloomenstein. This last recorded phone message sounded angry.  Kind of want to see how this plays out.

Holy so annoying. .for lile 3 months now everyday they call and everytime I add the number to my reject list, holy to have them get a new number to call me from. And everytime its for some Vanessa person.

THEY CALL DAILY, I HAVE TOLD THEM TO QUIT CALLING AND TAKE MW OFF THE LIST BUT THEY KEEP CALLING LOOKING FOR JUSTIN. I DONT KNOW JUSTIN BUT HE DOES LKIVE IN THE SAME CITY I DO.

They called me today saying they have made repeated attempts to call me. I called back three times and got voicemail and left message. I don't think it is a real voicemail and that it is actually a person just saying a recording because in the middle of the recording the voice stopped for a full one and half second when I punched something. I was so mad. If it was a recording how could a recording "hear" and "react" to a noise such as that. I then reported that phone number to Industry Canada Consumer and Corporate Affairs for harassment. This is the best thing that you can do, report them to consumer and corporate affairs at ConsumerInformation.ca c/o Office of Consumer Affairs

I forgot to add that it was only one recording where voice paused. The other two recordings didn't. Sounds fishy to me.

Annoying call by the end of the day, started once Month then once a week now every day or every second day.
I don't even understand the Automated name they are asking for, and I don't owe anyone any Money.

I have been getting calls repeatedly for about a month now, they call early in the AM, call during the day, in the evening and late in the evening.  They are very threatening about how I need my lawyer or myself to call them - but they call from different numbers from across the country?  Sometimes blocked, or from various provinces, but always the same message usually with this number as a contact.  Worse they are calling my work and leaving this message, so all my co-workers and boss are hearing this message and asking questions!  Which is irritating since I have NO IDEA why these people are threatening me and what they want!  They obviously are not legitimate since if they were they would call my house and as all my bills are up to date and I don't own a car, or have been in an accident in the last few years I have no idea why anyone would be after me! Legitimate companies I would think would subpoena me or contact me at home.  I have also googled Josh Newman (where they claim to be from) & while there are musicians, artists and lawyers out there with that name, there is no collection agency, or legitimate law firm associated with that number, besides they are not a lawyers office as they specifically say "the offices of Josh Newman".    I have not tried to call the number left since just recently they changed it to another number for me to call but with the same voicemail.......sounds so fishy - I wouldn't trust it or call them back.

I am getting the same thing - they are now calling two to three times a day (from various different numbers) - but it is never a real person!  The number has now changed to a different call back number & I am very convinced they are a scam.

Like "Irritated" We have searched for this lawyer "Josh Newman" and no such office, not in Canada for sure.We have taken some very wise advise from "Bracie" Thank you Bracie now, everyone else

The more people who report this number to Industry Canada the better. She is right, we ALL do this and something will be done, it is fraudulent and I hope no one falls for this scam out there.
