recieved a post card abt. 15 Oct.,from EWS with this 877 number, a control # and message:"WE HAVE A PARCEL DELIVERY FOR YOU"
There was no call from them. Apparantly no delivery was attempted. EWS stands for Eco Water Systems of Tennessee, they hope you'll call so they can make a sales pitch.

But yeah, I've been home all day, there was no attempt at an actually delivery.

I recieved a card on1/6/10. I decided to check it out before calling. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't calling overseas someplace with phone charges etc. I am glad I checked it out, I will pitch it in the trash.

Thanks for the FYI with regard to 877-269-9025 "Eco Water Systems." It saved me from wasting my time which none of us have enough of these days! Anyone know how we were all selected to receive these cards from EWS?

Got the same (lame) card 2-3-2010. I hope they fire the marketing genius who thought this one up. $ wasted. Anyone in this day and age who calls a number blind can really get trashed.

Postcard only - did not make the call for the parcel delivery.  Just went to SEARCH on the internet.  Glad I did - found others who received same.  Don't like this method of marketing at all!

I called the number and bought one of their water filtration systems and now I cant emagine life without it... they came out and did a free water analasys and it showed a lot of unwanted chemicals and other stuff in my water... now it is tastless and smooth... soooo much better... thank you eco water!!!

Got this postcard yesterday & knew it was useless.

Yeah, the water tastes soooo good because you are a stooge for that sorry company, goodguy1.

Their 'analysis' would show a lot of unwanted chemicals no matter what kind of water you had.

You can buy actual functional water filters at any Walmart or Home Depot.

I got this postcard today, 5/11/10, and glad I checked it out. As for buying a filtration system, we bought a Brita that attaches to the faucet from Wal-Mart for about $20.

Tasteless water from a tasteless marketing scheme - good descriptor, goodguy1 - you would do well to learn words, their spellings, and definitions.

Providing "tasteless" water is not a good thing.

Water that has no taste is silly; it tastes like water.  Water does have a taste.  Silly rabbit...

If enough of us call the Main number for the Brand owner to express our "distaste" for this marketing practice, which seeks to take advantage of those in our community who are more susceptible, to lure them into a sales pitch FRAUDULENTLY, perhaps they'll reign him in - or pull the plug on his operations.  Then the owner will understand how valuable time is, when you are trying to utilize it best to find work.  :p

It might even be worth someone contacting the Rutherford County sheriff (615-898-7770) to inquire if this constitutes the type of fraudulent business practices covered by the TCA, and investigated by the TBI.

I got this postcard today. Funny how the postcard made it but the "parcel" did not. Also, no return address.
