SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

I got a text from this number and it said it was my credit union.  They were asking if a charge was made to a certain place. I had no idea what it was and responded "no".  they it texted me back to call that number.  It's a recording to the "fraud department".  I didn't wait from someone to come on the line, presumably to get your account info while they have you in a worried state, as it was clear to me it was not right.  But I can see how someone would fall for it.

I received a text saying that I had a fraud alert from my credit/debit card which I HAD NOT used. It said to call 877-273-5740 with any questions. I DO NOT call any unknown numbers without doing a reverse search of them first. This is a PHISHNIG SCAM looking for credit card information.

They just called to say it’s my parents Veridian union and there was a freeze on the account

Gave me info to call and appeared to be a fraud program from my bank.  I checked my account on the actual bank website and there were no alerts on my account.  I had called the number and was on the phone for about 20 minutes before I gave up on them.  When I typed STOP it told me to call the number on the back of my card to renew the service.  My card does not have a number printed on it to call.

I just received an email for supposedly fraudulent activity on a Veridian account and was directed to call this number. Also left a voicemail to call as well. The email came from EnFact notifications and, after calling the real number on the back of my card, determined this is a total fraud.

Text from 877-273-5740 Fraud Department asking if I made transaction in the amount of $84.67 gonna suspend your card respond yes,no,or stop call this number 877-273-5740 talk to our fraud specialist.

Hey thank u I got same text but i know they been scamming hard from china over the internet its amazing the things they can do. I feel like I’m being attacked from every which way with these people and I’m not happy we already have bad bad infection that has taken down so many people and then there going to scam us on top of it. Im so so so mad 😡 seriously its not right anyway thank u again

received text message about a charge to Mall4Africa Cour. about a charge. It was a scam...

For a txt alert supposedly from my bank saying txt YES or NO as to whether I had recently made a transaction...I texted YES, as I had minutes previously made a transaction.  I then received email regarding a hold on my debit card. I called this number in that email and after a long hold a man answered stating I had a hold on my account after verifying my name...He put me on hold and minutes later the call disconnected.  I'm calling the number on the back of my atm card now to report this.

Texted me : “ FreeMSG Apple FCU Fraud Center 877-273-5740: $249.05 on card **** at Walmart.com. If valid reply YES, fraud NO. To Opt Out, STOP.”

Used my bank and used the last for digits of my card.

Received text asking if I made a specific purchase to specific place, which I had. Called my financial institution. They believe it was linked to CASHAPP or PayPal????

This number: 372-68 text me right after making an online purchase on my daughter’s  Xbox one for a game and for Xbox live it had the correct amount of the purchase and all after responding I found out my card was frozen and this is a scam be careful. This is the message that was sent copy and pasted word for word :
FreeMSG Cardholder Services Fraud Center 877-273-5740: $31.79 on card 0583 at Microsoft Xbox. If valid reply YES, fraud NO. To Opt Out, STOP.

Same message but was for Mohegan Sun Casino.  The dollar figure was double that.  Not our bank, not our card numbers.

This numbr 8772735740 is legit, for me anyways. I recieved txt with this number for fraud alert. I did not reconginze the number  so i called the number on the back of the card. They said there was fruad alert on the card and i had to block my card . So im not sure why so many are saying the number is scam.

I don’t have a card ending in those number or a card for this account at all so it is a total scam!  Be careful ppl! Message came from 372-68

1 am on hold with them now somehow they have put a block on my unemployment card.

I called and was told my card was frozen b Cassandra I said supervisor she said I'll have her call you and hung up so I called back now on hold.

Got a text letting me know if I recognized the charges, enter yes or no. I didn’t respond and did a look up. I also called my financial institution to verify the charges. No charges made, it’s a scam. Also got a call from ‭ ‭(844) 682-4502‬ Also stated the same and it’s also a scam.
