I got a call from this number and I thought it was from the company I had submitted an insurance application with (Golden Rule), but I soon realized it was not. They were very confusing over the phone and I'm afraid they are scamming me somehow. When I tried calling back nobody answered.

    Hello,

Your information was provided to us through your online application. It may have been forwarded to us from Golden Rule, if they are declining you. Or maybe you went to one of our proprietary website's and just forgot? I am not sure But I can assure you no one is "scamming" you. We did not ask for money or financial info, so I don't know why you are worried, but I thought I should respond, since you so easily complained on this site about our company. We did take your phone # out of our system. I listened to the recording of your conversation with our representative and it's clear you were confused, but we never implied we were Golden Rule, and have not done anything illegal or otherwise. You will not recieve any other calls from our company. If you react this way to phone calls from companies you don't know I would suggest you not give your phone number out on the internet.

I don't know how many times or in how many languages a person has to request to be taken off this list, but I apparently haven't reached the limit yet. I have called and called and called and called, asking to be taken off this list, I speak slowly and loudly in case the person on the other end is dumb, which I am left to assume, since I cannot and have not been taken off the list. Way to have confidence in your company though. Maybe it's you that can't take me off the list. Oh, and by the way, I did not ever attempt to search for insurance through your site. It is a scam because I've gotten phone calls asking for two different people (neither of whom was me) and I never requested them. So back in your face.

I have been getting a call from this company every week day for almost a month, Yes I did something online to get a online insurance quote, Worst thing I every did, well maybe not ever but I get atleast 10 calls a day from insurance companies. I never answer any of the calls, you would think after so long calling every day with no answer they would stop calling but they never do, drives me nuts. Anyways I just called this one and hit 1 to be romoved.

    Mhmmm,

I called and listened to the recording. Didn't work. I called and spoke with the receptionist. Didn't work. I waited the necessary 24 to 48 hours for the removal to be complete. In my world, two weeks later falls out of the realm of 24 to 48 hours. Maybe if you devoted as much time to actually doing what people wanted, instead of responding to hate mail, you would be more successful in the PR department. Also, if you had bothered to read my entire statement, you would have realized that I DID NOT fill out any forms. GET IT!?!?!?!?!? No, you probably don't. But it's fine that you keep calling. It gives me some satisfaction that you continue to waste your time on me because I will NEVER EVER use your company :)

I just got the 27th call from this number, and decided to answer it (the previous calls were at all times of the day, and came in while I was attending a conference and not in a position to answer.  It was quite disruptive - even though I had my phone on vibrate - as it would go off just as I was talking to a potential client.  This time, when I answered, I asked who the heck (not the word I used) was calling me an average of 6 times a day, without leaving a message, the woman said "who are you with a potty mouth"? and then promptly told me to learn some manners and to 'F@ck off'.  She then hung up on me.  Her words.  I can assure you that whomever you guys are, I wouldn't do business with them if they were the last purveyor of their product on Earth.

Our system is not capable of calling any number more than 4 times a day. If you feel there is a problem with your phone number please call 877-278-9066 and press 1 to be added to the Do Not Call List or stay on the line and ask to speak with a manager to be manually deleted.

Keep reporting them to the Feds - it's harrassment, and it's illegal.  Note each day and time they call, how many times and then file a complaint at:

    https://www.donotcall.gov/

If it keeps up I'll happily set up a website for a class action law suit.  If they weren't scam artists why the "Not Provided" on the caller ID? Why ignore the do not call, per their instructions press "1" ... I've pressed "1" repeatedly - 3xs this last call.  I've requested my inbound phone records from the phone company, to show the amount of harrassment - you can do the same thing...in the event you want to sue.

The https://www.donotcall.gov/ is easy to step through.  Maybe with enough complaints the feds will shut them down, if not a class action law suit should.
